Harry’s P.O.V

Its Friday night February 13th, the lads are here helping me out for mine and my girlfriend’s first year anniversary tomorrow. To say I was excited is an understatement, I mean c’mon, we’ve come this far ,a couple hours less than a year have passed and we’re still together.

*ring*

*ring*

I picked up my phone “Hello?”

“Hey, Harry” oh it’s Charlie, my girlfriend for soon to be a year “Hey Char, how are you” I said beaming

“Good, you?”

“Same, erm Char, advanced Happy Anniversary” I told her. I was waiting for her answer but what I’ve heard is her deep sigh only.

“Is there something wrong?” I asked.
“Harry, all these months that were together were the happiest times of my life.” She said.

“Me too” I said but she cut me off
“But Harry, I tried I really did” I don’t have a good feeling about this
“I just can’t, not this time, not anymore” she said

“What, I can’t understand you” I said, voice cracking. I think I know where this is going.

“Harry, it’s not you, it’s me”
“Are you breaking up with me?” I asked, slowly, I can feel my voice cracking but I ignored it anyways. You know that feeling when you’re like empty, I don’t even know why I feel this way.

“I’m sorry Harry”
*Crack* did you heard that? Well, read, it was my heart, slowly breaking

“Why?” I whispered. Why at this time? Why tonight? Why? I want to know the reason why

“Were not meant for each other Harry. Someday, you will find the perfect girl for you and that’s not just me. I hope you’ll find the one. Thank you for everything Harry. Goodbye” *end* ‘Goodbye’ is always the word that I hate the most. Because when you say the word goodbye, it means you’re leaving, probably temporary, but it can also be permanent.

She didn’t even let me speak. She didn’t even ask me if I wanted to end all this. She just broke up with me, on a phone call. Were done, over. And she just left me like that. Torn.

I don’t usually cry, but now, I don’t know. My knees collapsed, making me fall causing a loud thud on the floor.
“Harry? You alright there?” somebody asked from the other room. I didn’t answer, I don’t have the energy to, I just stayed there, sobbing my broken heart out.

I heard footsteps coming over to where I was, probably because I didn’t answered. “Harry, Oh My God are you okay?” it was my little sister, y/n

“What happened?” she hugged me. Right now I don’t want to be bothered but. “Someone, help us!” she screamed causing the other three to come

“Harry, what happened?” their faces filled with worry.
“Char just broke up with me” shock was written to all of their faces
“What? How, you both were perfect for each other” Louis said “She called me, and she just ended it, just like that”

“But why, maybe there’s just a misunderstanding, hold on and let me call her” y/n said standing up

“No, you won’t call her!” I demanded “But Harry, look at you, you’re a mess!” she said. I know she’s just concerned but I don’t want her sympathy.
