    It was lunch time. Me, Mellow and Ailani ran down the second floor hallway. As we ran I nearly tripped over Issa's out stretched foot. Mellow was half way down the hallway when he heard Aliani yell " Look out." I jumped over it within the right amount of time.

     " Issa learn to stay in your own space." She simply laughed. I wanted to hurt her so bad. As she switched away I turned to Ailani.
" Did you see that."

"Yea I did ,but you need to stay, tranquil."

"First of all, what! Second of all she just tried to make my face look like a pancake."

"Well maybe it was an accident." I waved my hand at Ailani and walked to Mellow's side. Ailani was always the peace maker for some reason. No matter what happens she didn't believe in violence. I really don't understand her or her logic. She was always a smart Alec, her nickname was the grammar queen. Please don't get me started on her obsession with Shawn Mendes, she actually has a full on detailed mannequin in her room. One day I was over her house and accidentally knocked her "husband" down and broke his arm, then she ripped my homework into pieces and flushed it down the toilet, saying if I ever touch him again I will have hell to pay.
       Mellow on the other hand is just the type of boy that didn't really get into our girl drama. He was just... there. He was taller then all of us too. He had every girl in school at his feet and yet, he didn't want any of them. Made me worry about him a little bit. But he was the best person to be around because he was hilarious. One time I remember he had said a really terrible joke.
" Hey are you a banana because your very appealing." The joke was lame, but the fact that he used an accent and had an actual banana is what made it funny.
    As we went down to lunch I hit Mellow on the arm. It hurt me more then it hurt him. He smirks.
   " What was that for."

  " Because you just let her try and trip me. You know what never mind it's useless even getting angry at you."
Noni waved us over to our usually table. Noni was one of the new kids that we had instantly added to the group. Her personality wasn't much for me to pay attention to, but she had a lot of energy. As much as Myah. Myah was small though so every time she bounced up and down in happiness we just laughed.
Mellow cut the line while we sat down with Noni and Chill. Chill's real name was Shiya, but she was just so nonchalant about everything, that we start calling her Chill.
"What up Chill, why you hanging out with the fresh meat," I asked.
" Excuse me, you do know I'm right here," Noni added. I laughed and looked at her lunch tray.
" You on a diet or something," Mellow asked walking up with two tray's. He handed one to me. Noni shrugged her shoulders.
" I'm a swimmer and my mom won't let me eat much."
" Well that's stupid," Ailani blurts out.
" How are you suppose to enjoy all of the junk food in the world, if your held back by dirty peas on your plate," Ailani finishes. In her anger she sticks a spoon full of pudding in her mouth.

"Anyways we should go to the movie's or to the mall this weekend," I ask.
" Mall," Noni says.
" I don't care as long as I'm not in the house," Chill says.
   " Ughh... we don't do anything when we go to the mall anyway.. I want to go to the movies," Mellow says.
   " Sorry I can't go," Ailani says.
  " What! Why not major choices are being made right now!" I yell out.

      I never really liked it when Ailani couldn't make it to the places we went. Her parents were so strict. Sometimes I would talk her into doing things that her parents would never approve of. Sure she was an A student, but I would hide some of her homework assignments so she would fail. I don't know why I did it, but watching her look for it was super funny.

   " Ok. Can't you just tell you parents.. that we have a project due next week or something."

  " I've used that line way to much already."

  " Man. Maybe another time then..." I trailed off as I seen Issa kissing Ben Stripes. I swear that boy was all types of F-I-N-E. He was a quarterback on the football team. Something got a hold of me because some how I ended up at their table. Issa starred up at me.

    " Que quieres perra," she uttered. I snapped out of my daze as Ben looked at me.

   " Umm.. I just wanted to know about the game the other day."

   " That stupid you were there," Issa said. My face felt hot as I tried to come up with another reason.

   " Issa chill, she just wanted to know what was going on with the game. Lots of girls don't know about the game."
    He flashes a big smile that makes my heart melt. I wanted to slap him so bad. That big stupid smile that made me get butterflies in my stomach. That might have been the real reason I stumbled over. I had known him sense we were in the third grade.

       I actually didn't start liking him until the 9th grade though. Ailani talked about his personality and facial features so much that I fell for the guy. I seriously wish she wouldn't have talked about him so much because he's with the spawn of Satan. I would say he could do so much better.
     " Why are you just starring at him.. move around," she said in her thick Spanish accent. 

    " Oh... well... I... ummm.." stammering I just walk off shielding my eyes.
   I hate that girl!
