Warning: Sexual Activities

I just got home. I let myself in, the whole house is dark and it's so quiet. I smile, knowing everyone is asleep. I take off my boots and head upstairs. I put on soft pajamas and climb into bed. In his sleep, Lindsey wraps his arm around me and I drift off easily.

Hours later, I hear the girls are awake and playing in one of their rooms. A familiar warm palm brushes my bangs away from my face and I smile as my eyes open slowly.

"Good morning, angel" he says, smiling down at me. "When did you get in?"

"What time is it?" I ask, coming out from under the veil of slumber.

"Noon-ish."

"6 hours ago I guess"

"Wow, early!"

"Too early"

"I will let you get some more sleep" he tells me.

"Cuddle with me a little longer?" I ask, sticking my lip out to pout in an exaggerated way.

"How can I say no when you say it like that?" He gets back into bed with me and we mold around each other as we always do, fitting together perfectly. It feels so good to be in his arms but I feel dirty. After a few minutes of him kissing me and caressing my arms, I know I have to say something.

"Hey, Linds?" My head is on his chest and I can feel him shift so he can look at me better.

"Yes, Steph?"

"Um...something happened while I was away"

"What's it they say 'What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas'?"

"I'm not joking Lindsey" I say, my tone serious as I sit up. I pull the covers up around myself and he adjusts.

"Okay, I'm sorry. What happened?"

"I, uh, ran into Don" I tell him, having gathered all my courage to say even just this small part.

"Oh?"

"He was at Caesar's Palace when Lori and I were having dinner after rehearsal. I literally bumped into him and he...he had his arms around my waist and he said he was there to see my show, to see me"

"Is that it?" Lindsey asks.

"Don't you think that's weird?"

"I mean, it's a free country" he says and I groan. "Well, is there something else?"

"Lindsey, he kissed me. I was in such a state of shock. I couldn't believe it!"

"He kissed you?" His blue eyes were wide now and his tone had sharpened.

"Yeah..."

"You didn't kiss him back, did you?"

"No, of course not! He just planted one on me! I had no time to react." I say defensively. "And even if I did, why would I want to kiss Don?"

"Alright..." he says, calming down.

"Are you mad at me?" I ask, looking up from my lap as my gaze had fallen there a moment before.

"No. Why would I be?" I'm visibly surprised by his words when I lift my head and he half smiles.

"Me and Don..." I tell him, seeking some kind of reaction. I don't want to fight but he's giving me nothing. Is he holding it in?

"Stephanie, I trust you." He strokes my face. "I know you'd never do anything to hurt me or jeopardize our marriage. You're not a cheater." I'm stunned into silence. It's  true, Lindsey really is a different man. He's not jealous at all. "Is that not what you wanted to hear?" He asks, chuckling.
