Mizuko had never thought she'd live to see her son grow a pair of balls and pop the question. He had finally gotten engaged.

She was currently dress shopping with the bride herself and Akahana. "I know you'll look amazing, no matter which one you pick," the fifteen year old assured the to-be-wed.

"Thank you, Aka-chan," the woman said with a smile, "When we're finished here, we're going to find you one as well."

"Really? There's no need to get me dressed up as nicely as you. You should be the one in the spotlight."

"My bride maid needs to look georgeous as well." Katsuko granted her a wink, "Besides, I believe Kakashi will appreciate the effort, he'll be astounded by your beauty."

"Wasn't he already?" Mizuko mused, "I mean, if Aka-chan grows her hair out and we give her an amazing hairdo, I'm afraid he'd faint."

Panick currently had taken over the Kobayashi family members, mostly Aoi, as they were planning the final details of the wedding with only a week to go.

"Aka-chan will do the flowers, Katsuko and Isamu are making invitations and we have to make arrangements for the venue,"  Aoi said in an attempt to calm himself down, "Mizuko-chan, does he know we're doing it there yet?"

Mizuko gave her husband a hug from behind, gently kissing him on the neck, "Aoi-kun, you're worrying too much. At this rate, you'll be experiencing a mental breakdown during the actual wedding."

Aoi inhaled deeply, finally seeming to calm down a bit, "Then what do you suggest?"

"I suggest we take a break."

Aoi, being stubborn as usual, didn't even listen to his wife's advice and returned to worrying about every single detail. He wanted it to be as perfect as it could be, even more perfect then when he married Mizuko.

Mizuko was continously trying to get through to him, but it was no use. Damn those persistent Kobayashi genes.... But then again, it was also what she fell for in the first place.

She took her husband by surprise when she embraced him once again from behind, "I really want that break, you know?"

After a week of long days and sleepness nights, the day had finally come. Isamu and Katsuko were finally getting married.

Isamu had been staying up way too late because of the excitement that came with the knowledge he was never going to be single again. He'd rather not think of anything bad happening to Katsuko (and he believed he probably was going to be the first to die anyway). Aside from that, he actually wanted children, so did Katsuko.

"Good morning, sunshine," Akahana joked as she saw her cousin standing at the counter with messy hair and a cup of coffee, "Ready for the married life?"

Isamu chuckled, "And what do you know about that, you're still in the girlfriend phase."

"I know what I've seen and heard from my tou-san and Shikaku-san," she told him, "Be prepared for your days to be filled with flirtatious teasing, light insults and--"

"I'm pretty sure it can't be that bad," Isamu interrupted, "If I just keep a stash of chocolate at all times, she won't get grumpy."

A smile lit up Akahana's face, "We women are not that easy, itoko-kun." She then gestured him to leave, "Obaa-san said she wanted you upstairs to get ready before you're late for your own wedding."

"You seem to be in a hurry, Aka-chan," he said while he walked towards her, "Are you sure you aren't just desperate to, you know, see Kakashi again?"

Akahana elbowed him in the side, "Speak for yourself, Isamu."

At the wedding venue, all of the guests were yet to arrive when the Kobayashis got there, making sure everything looked nice and practising their speeches (mostly Isamu and Aoi).

"It'll be fine," Akahana assured the both of them, "If it wasn't for obaa-san and me, you'd have practised every other hour."

"Just you wait, hypocrite," Isamu retorted, "I bet that when it's your turn to marry, you'll do the exact same."

Akahana chuckled, "I highly doubt it."

After Aoi finally felt ready for the happening, and since he noticed the first guests arriving, he interfered in their conversation, "I believe it's time for you to actually be good hosts."

Isamu smirked, "Aren't I always?"

Surprisingly, one of the first guests was Kakashi. Had he gotten rid of the habit of always being late that he had ever since Obito died? Akahana doubted it.

"Kakashi-chan, I didn't expect to see you here for another two hours or so."

He smiled, "Well, I was growing impatient. You look amazing. Even more so than usual."

Akahana felt her cheeks getting hot and tried to hide it and calm down. They were dating, it was normal for Kakashi to be continuously flirty. "I could say the same about you."

Kakashi granted her one last wink before he allowed her to greet the guests who were arriving one by one. Her smile brightened when Shikaku arrived with Yoshino. Their little baby boy Shikamaru was at home, being watched and taken care of by a babysitter.

"Congratulations," Yoshino said, "You're finally getting an older sister in law."

"Though I feel like three against two is not exactly fair," Shikaku uttered, "Have you warned him about life as a married man yet?"

Akahana nodded, "Of course I have. But he's certain he'll be fine as long as there is a good stash of chocolate and sweets in the house."

"He'll be disappointed," Shikaku stated, "It takes much more than that."

Everything went as planned during the wedding, tears of joy were shed during the speeches and cheering was heard when Isamu got to kiss his bride.

While the bride and groom were thanking their guests and were being congratulated, Akahana searched for Kakashi in the crowd. She wanted him to dance with her, even if he had claimed to absolutely hate it multiple times.

"Aka-chan, I don't want to dance," Kakashi told her after she had found and asked him.

"Then you shouldn't have made me your girlfriend," Akahana said with a grin as she grabbed his arm and dragged along. She put her arms around his neck and held him close, the tips of their noses meeting. "I know about Kurenai teaching you how to slow dance."

Kakashi grew red, she wasn't supposed to know that. It was true that he despised dancing,  but he knew she would find a way to get him to do it anyway. Since that was something he knew for sure, he didn't want to look like an idiot.

"Don't look so surprised, Kakashi-chan," Akahana mused with a giggle, "Us girls have our ways. Besides, you're doing it better than I thought you would."

"Is that supposed to be an insult?"

She giggled even more, shaking her head, "I'm just saying it was a good decision."

Kakashi caught the girl off guard when he kissed her on the lips. She was quick to return the kiss and enjoy every single second of it. When their lips parted, Akahana seemed to be in an even better mood. "That decision was even better," she told him.

"I figured."

*rises from hole in the ground*

I'm back with something short, but fluffy! I honestly was having a hard time getting in the mood to write anything, since I'm working more because I've got much more time (and I'm a lazy cunt...)

I hope you liked it nethertheless!

Also, there are about five chapters and an epilogue left, you'll finally learn what lead to the events of the prologue. Thoughts?
