Hello guys, I'm back. Sorry for the lack of updates I've been busy with the holidays. I was also going to post this past weekend but I went with my mom to her friend's house. We went to this big mall where I tried bubble tea (which is freaking disgusting by the way) and Thai food. The food was good but the stupid bubble tea made my stomach feel gross. Then I got the flu. Those are all my excuses and weekend adventures. So without further interruptions, here's the next chapter.
BamBam thought his eyes were deceiving him. He hasn't seen Mark all week and of all nights he decided to show up on prom night. BamBam's attention was drawn to the sole rose being held in Mark's hand. What was going on?
"Mark, what are you doing here?" BamBam asked in the softest voice possible, not wanting to sound rude.
Mark extended his arm out offering the rose to the very confused boy in front of him. "Since I didn't take you to prom, I came here."
BamBam smiled fondly at Mark's semi-flustered state. Here stood the one and only Mark Tuan holding out a rose for someone he rejected so many times. It was a cute gesture.
Mark kept flicking his gaze between BamBam and the rose. "Are you going to take it or not, my arm is getting tired."
"Oh, yeah, sorry." BamBam took the rose out of Mark's hand and brought it up to his nose, smelling the delicate, dark red petals. He smiled and looked up at Mark again. "Thank you."
That burning feeling was back in Mark's chest again and he felt as if he was going to explode. Attempting to ignore the feeling he grabbed BamBam's wrist and pulled him into his house.
"Come on, let's go watch a movie again," Mark stated as he pulled BamBam into the living room.
When Mark entered the living room he saw what looked like a raccoon raided BamBam's pantry and made a feast for itself. There were three different bags of chips on the couch, two cans of soda on the table along with three crushed ones on the floor and an opened box of leftover pizza next to the soda cans. Mark wondered how such a skinny boy could eat so damn much.
Mark looked over at BamBam with the most serious expression on his face. "You're gonna get fat if you keep eating like this you know."
"Well sorry if I eat my sorrows away when someone rejects me twenty three times within two weeks." BamBam pouted.
"Well maybe next time don't be so annoying when you ask."
"You're saying I have a chance at you saying yes next time?"
"I never said that."
Mark started walking over to the couch and BamBam followed close behind, Mark had never let go of the small boy's wrist. He pulled BamBam down onto the soft cushions with him and made himself comfortable. The redhead squinted his eyes at the screen.
"What the hell were you watching before I showed up?" Mark questioned.
BamBam scratched the nape of his neck being a little embarrassed that Mark caught him watching some sappy love story. "Uhh... The Notebook."
Mark chuckled. "Well that explains why it sucks. If I'm going to be hanging out with you here, do you have any good movies we can watch?"
BamBam nodded his head and told Mark he'd be right back down after he found a few good movie choices. He ran up the stairs and into his room and began his search. The small entertainment center in his room seemed like a good start.
