I'm alive. I apologize for my absence.

BamBam was just so exited that he and Jackson had made up, so when the next day rolled around, he just had to tell Mark. Recently, BamBam felt the need to tell the older everything that went on in his life. Mark was a very important figure in BamBam's life so when anything monumental -- or even something miniscule -- occurred he just had to tell Mark.

When BamBam told Mark the important news all he earned was a simple 'that's nice' in response. The sophomore was a little disappointed at the uninterested response he got. Then again, it wasn't Mark's life so why should the redhead care.

It wasn't that Mark didn't care because that was really quite the contrary. He did care, in a different way. Except he couldn't quite put his finger on it. It was complicated. It was that same unknown emotion he felt that night at Chanyeol's party when BamBam was hanging all over Chanyeol and the lanky boy had his hands on BamBam's waist. Just the thought of that scenario had a small frown appearing on his face.

Mark still held nothing against Jackson even though said boy wasn't exactly keen on him. He just simply didn't want BamBam staying over at Jackson's. BamBam staying at Mark's house and Mark staying at BamBam's house was their thing. Why does Jackson have to butt in?

Mark was now feeling what Jackson had felt in the past. The feeling of replacement.

When people get the disappointing feeling of being replaced by someone else, whether that person be more skilled than them in something or just generally more interesting than themselves they feel threatened. The person that feels threatened by the person they feel to be greater than them self would then do anything to keep the person they are afraid of losing, close. Mark was different. He did the exact opposite. He avoided BamBam for the rest of the week.

Mark didn't understand his emotions. He didn't understand the way he felt around BamBam and he didn't understand what he was feeling with the whole idea of a Jackson and BamBam sleepover occurring this weekend. The only thing he did know was he didn't want to be 'replaced' by Jackson.

Avoiding BamBam probably wasn't the best way to go about staying close to the boy but Mark didn't know any better. He didn't know how to handle this. Too much was happening at once, in his mind and the real world.

BamBam was hurt himself. He was confused. Why was Mark avoiding him?

He couldn't help but feel like it was his fault. A lot of things have seemingly been his fault lately.

The weekend quickly approached and soon BamBam was packing up an overnight bag to stay at Jackson's. His bag contained basic necessities to get him through the night such as: a toothbrush, bedclothes, his phone and a charger, cologne, a change of clothes and deodorant for the next day. He also grabbed two horror movies in case both boys felt the need to be scared shitless later in the night (in reality they were always too scared to even press play).

BamBam's mom yelled upstairs telling her son to hurry up. She didn't want him to keep his friend waiting.

BamBam walked down the stairs with his bag slung over his shoulder and his hands tucked in the pockets of his hoodie (it was actually Mark's hoodie that he stole. The soft fleece on the inside still smelled like the redhead).

The drive to Jackson's house was oddly quite and that concerned the normally worrisome mother. BamBam was normally very happy and chatty on car rides to Jackson's house. She knew how much the two boys loved each other as if they were brothers.
