Jackson's POV:
The flight felt like a million years, but we finally landed. When we were given the okay to depart the plane, I couldn't get up. I didn't want to get up. I wanted to go back to Hong Kong.

"Honey, we can get off the plane now," my mom said to me with my dad getting our stuff from the luggage compartments. "I want to go back," I whispered to myself as I finally got out of my seat to help my dad.

We exited the plane and started to head towards the luggage belt to get the main stuff we packed before our stuff would arrive from our old house. Once we finally got our stuff, we headed outside to take a taxi to our new home.

The drive there was quiet and long. I ended up falling asleep and woke up to my mom shaking my arm. "We're here sweetheart," she said with a soft simile.

I woke up and got out of the car. When I looked up, I saw our new house. Wow! It's huge! Way bigger then our old one. "Do you like it?" My mother asked me after noticing I couldn't take my eyes off of it. "It's big, that's for sure," I said to her.

"Hey Jackson, will you help me with the luggage?" my dad asked me.  "Oh yeah, of course," I said while running to the trunk of the taxi. Together we carried the luggage in with my mom paying the taxi driver and following us in.

I put the luggage down to look around the inside of the house. It was even nicer than the outside. Maybe the new house won't be as bad as I thought.

"Your room is upstairs if you want to start  to unpack. You can choose the one you want," my mother said to me. "Thanks," I said while grabbing my suitcase and heading to the stairs.

I got up the stairs and met a long hallway that had two doors on each side of it. I looked through the first three and decided to have my room be the last one at the end on the right. I'm not gonna lie, my new room is huge. I don't even think I have enough stuff from my old room to fill even half of this space.

The only thing that was in my room right now was a bed. I put my luggage on the bed and sat down to take a breather. This was all happening way too fast.

After a few minutes I decided to unpack my bag and hang up some of my clothes in my new walk-in closet. As I was doing that I heard a light knock on my door.

"Jackson honey," my mom said while entering into my room. "Yeah?" I questioned. "How are you doing?" She said with concern in her voice. She could tell I was not feeling this move.

"I'm fine," I said. "Jackson, you don't have to hide your feelings from me. I know you better than that," she said while staring into my eyes. I don't know why but I started to tear up.

"Oh honey, come here," my mom said while taking me into her arms. "I don't want to be here, I want to be back in Hong Kong with all of my friends," I said while crying into her shirt.

"Honey, you'll make some new friends," she said while rubbing my back. "I don't want to," I said. "Jackson, I know this move is hard, it's hard on all of us. Just please, be open-minded and give it a chance. You'll find new friends and soon it'll feel like home again." She said trying to comfort me. By this time I stopped crying.

"Yeah I know, it's just hard," I said to her. "Everything will be fine, good things will come out of this," she said while kissing my forehead. I hope so I thought to myself.

"Well I think I'm gonna get to bed. I've had a long day," my mother said. "Yeah, goodnight. Love you," I said while giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Love you too honey, get yourself some sleep as well. Don't stay up too late," she said to me. "I won't, I only have a few things to put up and then I'll head to bed," I said to her. "Okay, well goodnight. See you in the morning." She said. "See you in the morning," I said and with that she closed my door and left me alone in my empty room.

I finished hanging up my clothes and putting my bathroom stuff into my attached bathroom. After that I changed into some pjs and crawled into my bed. I screwed around on my phone for a little bit until I finally went to sleep.
