ㅡ ❝wrapped my thougts around your mind.❞

Music was always the thing he loved most in the world, the only thing he ever had passion for. He needed music on a daily basis. The best moments for him were those he was able to spend his whole day listening to music, without any disturbance. He loved spending all his free time in his bed, listening to music, writing lyrics and composing the songs on his laptop. He also loved every single time he could show his new tracks to his friends, who fell in love with his music immediately. He enjoyed seeing the smiles on their faces, some of them even dancing to the beat while smiling brightly. Each time he then promised to himself that he would never give up on music, because that had always been the only thing to make him truly happy.

But then Hoseok happened.

Hoseok. Someone he had known for as long as he could remember. Hoseok had always been there. They grew up together, as friends, as brother, spending all their time together. Well, except those hours Namjoon had invested in music. But even then he had always enjoyed the slightly older male's company, listening to his songs while he tried different things with the program on his laptop. To him it had always been just normal, like it was supposed to be that way, like Hoseok was supposed to be there. At some point he had even thought of Hoseok as a part of him, because each time Hoseok would spent his time at Namjoon's place, even though the younger was working on music, Namjoon's songs would turn out way better, at least in Namjoon's opinion. For Hoseok and the others each song had just been perfect, but for Namjoon Hoseok's company was essential.

As they grew older Namjoon noticed that 'being friends' wasn't quite the right definition for their relationship, wasn't the right one for what Namjoon felt towards Hoseok. As time passed by, Namjoon noticed the way his feelings for Hoseok changed. At first he had denied himself, had denied his feelings. He denied recognizing the way his heart would beat faster each time Hoseok was anywhere near him. He would start to feel hot and would blush each time the other would smile at him, especially when he was smiling because of one of Namjoon's songs. Namjoon soon realized all his songs were 'good' because he had been thinking about Hoseok while writing the lyrics and producing the song. As once Hoseok had been essential, he soon had become Namjoon's muse. He often thought about it at night while he was lying in his bed, staring at the ceiling like it could give him all the answers.

Namjoon's feelings grew with each passing year until he couldn't contain his feelings anymore. While Hoseok was oblivious to his feelings, his other friends had realized the way Namjoon would get lost in his daydreams as he had been staring at the slightly older for minutes straight. Seokjin and Yoongi often told him to finally confess as they were able to see the love for Hoseok written all over his face. It took them hours to finally make Namjoon agree that it was finally the time to confess. But, he would do it in his own way. He wouldn't walk up to Hoseok, spilling his feelings right in his face like people usually did. No, he would do it the way he loved to show his feelings the most.

One day, Hoseok stayed over at his place once again, lying right beside him in his bed, eyes closed as he was listening to the song Namjoon was working on. Namjoon smiled widely as he noticed the smile which decorated Hoseok's face. It was beautiful, Hoseok was beautiful. And once again Namjoon had to realize that music wasn't the only most important thing in his life. Hoseok was as well. Maybe even the most important thing, part, person in his life ever.

"I have troubles with the lyrics." Namjoon suddenly said as he was looking over the track once again. Hoseok's eyes fluttered open as he hadn't expected Namjoon to talk at all for the next few hours. Hoseok took a look up at Namjoon, just to find the younger smiling softly at him, but he could also see the worry in the younger's eyes. Hoseok frowned, he didn't like seeing the older worried by anything. He then sat up to take a closer look at Namjoon's laptop's screen. Namjoon kept his eyes on Hoseok as he was watching him looking at the track. Namjoon then turned to the other side of the bed, grabbing a piece of paper from his nightstand. He handed the folded paper over to Hoseok, who took it rather hesitantly. Hoseok obviously didn't know what to do with the paper. "I want you to read it and tell me what you think." Namjoon added his explanation, smiling a little shy at the other. Hoseok unfolded the piece of paper, carefully as if it was made out of glass and could shatter into pieces anytime. Namjoon chuckled at Hoseok's cute behavior, but he didn't notice the other's red cheeks.

"You've never let me read your lyrics before, Joonie." Hoseok whispered as he started reading the words on the paper carefully. He smiled slightly at the younger's messy handwriting. Namjoon usually write really prettily, but it was like he was a different person when it came to writing lyrics. His thoughts often proceeded faster than his hand would be capable of writing down the words. Due to that he often had to cross out things and messily rewrite the words. Hoseok took his time reading the words. He was nervous, Namjoon had never allowed him to read them before. His lyrics were usually based off of his feelings, so Hoseok had to be careful with what he would say about them. The last thing he would want to do was to hurt him by telling him anything negative about them. 'As if there could ever be something bad about Joonie's lyrics.' Hoseok thought to himself.

It took him even longer to get the meaning of the lyrics. Those were lyrics filled with Namjoon's feelings of deep love. He talked about confession to that person, but didn't know if it was a good idea since music has always been his only passion. Hoseok could see that Namjoon was worried about the whole situation because he couldn't afford loosing that person by confessing.

Hoseok felt something in his heart, he didn't know what it was, but it stung right in his heart. Jealousy. Hoseok was jealous as Namjoon would think of a person that way. Hoseok wanted nothing more than to be the person Namjoon could write such passionate words about. He traced the words with his fingers as he reread each of them. He smiled bitterly as he realized he would now have to face reality, a reality in which Namjoon was in love, but not with him.
"For whom are they?" he asked quietly, afraid of the younger's answer. As Namjoon didn't answer he rose his gaze at him, carefully studying Namjoon's face as he was looking at him in return. Something, there was something in Namjoon's eyes that caused Hoseok's heart to beat faster. He was used to his heart beating rapidly as soon as Namjoon would be around him, but this time it was different. Something within Namjoon's eyes seemed like hoping for Hoseok to realize something, but Hoseok didn't. Namjoon chuckled as he saw the uncertainty in Hoseok's eyes. There was a voice at the back of his head, screaming at him to tell Hoseok, reassuring him that he was about to finally find his true passion.

"For you." Namjoon said quietly, almost a whisper, but Hoseok heard the words anyways. He heard them loud and clearly, like Namjoon had screamed them right in his face, He couldn't believe it, not even wanted to believe it since he was afraid his heart would burst any second he'd dare to believe his ears. But then suddenly he noticed Namjoon leaning in, pressing his lips softly onto his own. Hoseok's eyes were wide open as he asked himself if he had fallen asleep. He decided to just go with it as he believed it was a dream. His eyelids closed as he enjoyed the moment, concentrating on Namjoon's lips on his own. It was like heaven and for Namjoon it was heaven as well. Namjoon's heart was beating rapidly as he couldn't believe that the older was actually responding to his kiss. Then he pulled away, keeping his gaze at the older as he felt his cheeks turning into another shade of red. He watched as Hoseok's eyes finally opened after some seconds, his cheeks colored in an even darker red than Namjoon's. Namjoon didn't realize what happened next as he felt a hand at his neck, pulling him towards the older as Hoseok's lips met his once again. They kissed again, this time not only a press of lips on lips. This time it was actually a real kiss. And as they loved each other for years already they longed for nothing more than to show the other. The kiss soon was full of passion, showing each other how much they really meant to the other.

And as they pulled apart, both panting, Hoseok noticed it wasn't a dream. It was reality.

"I love you, too"
