Chapter 6

"Holy sheet," Alana fake cursed, her brown eyes blew open in ultimate fear. "What do we do? They already heard us, and if we-"
Dulce put a hand to silent her. "We wait for them to leave." By the tone of Dulce's voice, even Julie didn't argue. They all knelt down, waiting for the two figures to disappear. Fear grew as they didn't leave. The two cloaked figures stood where they are, well, until Derrick appeared.

Derrick appeared out of nowhere behind them. Literally, nowhere. Alana rubbed her eyes, thinking maybe it was playing tricks on her. But literally, he just -bam- there. The two cloaked figures heard his voice, and walked towards him. Derrick slowly backed away.

Alana wanted to stand up and go to him. "Der-" Julie yanked her arm down, causing her to fall flat on her bottom. She gave Julie the stank eyes. "They're gonna hurt Der-"
"You think I don't see that?" Julie said harshly. "You're gonna get yourself killed." Julie put a finger to her mouth. Alana rolled her bright brown eyes.
The two figures ran towards him, and suddenly he turned directions right toward the four kids sitting behind the bushes. Derrick stopped all of a sudden, and the cloaked figures slowly advanced on him. "Holy crap." they heard him murmured under his breath. He was sweating. I mean, you're seeing two cloaked figures that has signs of a vicious group that killed over thousands, in the Forbidden Forest, and there's barely light, and you're just a First Year, and you don't even know how to defend yourself or know how to use your wands and spells correctly.
"Don't TOUCH HIM!" Alana bursted furiously. Her brown eyes was brave.
Julie rolled her emerald like eyes. "Freak it. We're gonna have to make a run for it." she scanned the area, trying to remember where they came from. "Behind us, I think."
"What about Derrick?" Son asked. "We can't leave him."
Dulce sighed. She rubbed her forehead. "We're not gonna leave him, we're gonna grab him, run run run."

"What a great plan." Son clapped his hands sarcastically.

"There're more kids here," one of the figures spoke, "Alpha's gonna be happy. Grab them." They reached for Derrick and Alana first, and advanced on them. Each of the figures grabbed each one of Derrick or Alana. They struggled, kicking and punching and doing any sort of self-defense. Dulce stood up and sneaked behind the figures, using the darkness and trees. She kicked both of them in the back, causing them to fall over. Alana threw a random punch with her eyes closed and it hitted-

"What the hell Alana?" Julie shouted, wiping blood from her now broken nose.
"Sorry..." Alana kept herself from laughing, cuz... Duh not the time.

The two figures got back up quickly. They grabbed Derrick and pulled him closer. The other figure aimed for Dulce, but she was too fast, kicking the guy/girl in the shins. Either gender, its gonna hurt. The shin-kicked figure fell over, groaning in pain, clutching the private spot. By the sound of the pain, Dulce was pretty sure it was a boy. The other figure still had Derrick, holding him like a hostage, holding another knife to Derrick's throat. Derrick seemed scared out of his pants, he may had peed it. By the expression of his face, he was gonna cry or faint.

"Move one more step and this short kid gets it." the figure threatened.
"DON'T TOUCH HIM, LET HIM GO!" Alana yelled powerfully. It surprised Dulce. In all her years with Alana, she never heard once the harsh tone of her scream. But Dulce guess, she really did care for Derrick. Who really blamed her? They were best friends since birth. Then... the both of the figures kinda... floated. They both slammed against each other in mid-air, and then into trees and then...

"What the Bloody Hell?" Julie asked, a confused look on her face. "Are they floating- Son are you doing a Wingardium Leviosa spell without my permission?"
"No, I swear." Son answered innocently. The two figures kept slamming against the trees in mid-air, screaming like they were being tortured - to be fair, I think they were. During the weird minutes, Derrick ran back to Alana.
"Hah hah hah, I made it out alive! Oh my god! WHEW!" he wipe the imaginary sweat on his forehead - or is it real? I don't know. *chuckles*chuckles*
"We better go when we have the chance," Son instructed gently. "Whatever's happening to them isn't gonna last long."

"That's absolutely ridiculous! You sound ridiculous! How can Alpha Attackers be there and the two figures just smashed themselves into trees? RIDICULOUS!" Haylee said dramatically. "I'm gonna need a logical explanation for this. I'm gonna hit the library." she got up from the couch. They were in the Gryffindor Common room, Julie, Alessandra and Derrick weren't allowed, but it was near midnight, and everyone was already heading to sleep. The 7 laid on the couches and floor, Alana telling the story of what happened. Hearing it out loud, everyone thought it was a little unreal, including the 5 who were there.

"It's late Haylee," Derrick said, "hit the library tomorrow."
"But-"
"Just sit Haylee."

She rolled her green eyes and sat back down next to Julie. Derrick was in another couch playing League of Legends, across from Haylee and Julie with Alana next to him, playing on her bright blue and white phone. Alessandra sat on the floor, leaning her head on the side of Julie's couch, reading a book, but intently listening to Alana's story. Son was also on the floor, a laptop on his lap, playing a game of League of Legends too, against Derrick. Dulce sat on a couch-chair meant for one person, on her electric blue phone, checking out dog pictures and reading Warriors fanfic. After several hours, everyone fell asleep on their spot, electronics still running. They would probably regret in the morning, some of them getting in trouble and their electronics out of battery and have to recharge.

Julie was the only one awake at 3 AM. Her eyelids were wide open, she was scanning the whole room. Before she met these people, she never thought about caring to see anyone else alive. She never cared for anyone, she could just pack and walk away like nothing. But as she scanned her friends' face, she suddenly didn't feel so sure about that anymore.
