Transfer

You walk downstairs into your fathers office.

"Hello. The Oikawa boy has requested to see you again this week on Wednesday. The school you are transferring to is Fukurodani" he says in one swift motion.

"Why are you still standing there? Was I not clear?" He asks.

"Actually I have a question. What is your company for? I mean what do you do?" You ask. You wait for his reaction hoping it will be positive.

"Why the sudden interest?" He asks looking up form his laptop.

"Well it's my last year of high school so I want to know what I should be looking into for University applications and scholarships if I was planning to take over after you and mom" you reply and high five yourself in your head for such an amazing cover story.

"Oh well just business or accounting would do you well" he replies then continues his work.

"Can you tell me what it is you do exactly?" You ask and he looks up annoyed.

"No I can't. Leave it y/n" he replies super aggressively.

"Okay but you'll have to tell me eventually" you reply before leaving the room.

Well that could've gone worse. Fukurodani seems exciting. It's the one Kuroo thought would be more likely then Nekoma. You look at your phone and think about calling him but decided just to text him.

^hey. You were right! I'm going to Fukurodani now

It takes him a few minutes but eventually he replies

^awesome! I'll see you on the train
^okay can't wait
^whats my name in your phone ?
^kuroo why?
^shouldnt it be tetsurou ;)
^fine I'll change it. What's mine?
^babe with a heart
^change it! That's embarrassing

Then your phone rang and it was Kuroo.
K"Hi babe"
"Don't call me that"
K"why not? You probably love it but are in denial"
"Am not. It's weird"
K"also you left me hanging after calling me-
"Tetsurou"
K"You just sound so good when you say my name"
"And you sound pretty cute when you call me babe"
K"now you admit it"
"My parents are going to hear us. Goodnight"
K"it's barely 7"
"Goodnight"

You hang up and start laughing to yourself. A new school might not be so bad. You get to ride the train with Kuroo. You could make a real friend you think as you delete Mira's number.

~MONDAY~

You walked to the train and saw Kuroo at the station but he wasn't alone. He was with someone you'd never seen before and he wasn't wearing a Nekoma uniform. He eventually saw you and waved you over. You approached.

"Good morning. This is Bokuto. He goes to Fukurodani" Kuroo introduces the guy.

"Nice to meet you. Are you single?" Bokuto replies titling his head at a very unnatural way that reminds you of an owl.

"Actually she's my girlfriend" Kuroo replies aggressively.

"Oh I see. Ya did good bro" Bokuto laughs. Kuroo laughs too. They must be good friends for Kuroo to just back off so nonchalant.

The rest of the train ride consisted of you third wheeling Kuroo and Bokuto's bromance relationship. In your head you thought this train thing was going to get more awkward as the days went on.

When you finally arrived at the school Bokuto showed you to the main office before disappearing. The secretary gave you a school uniform to change into and your schedule. It was similar to your last schools semester so you weren't too worried.
