Ours

You woke up on the guest bed where you had collapsed the night before. You got up and proceeded to the shower. When you got out and got dressed you headed to the kitchen. Mr.Kuroo was sitting reading the paper.

"Good morning" you greeted quietly.

"Hello dear. Are you feeling at home here?" He asks looking up to meet your eyes.

"Yes sir. Thank you for welcoming me into your home" you reply smiling.

"Oh don't call me anything that fancy... just Kuroo is fine and no worries about the home thing. I'm just glad we got you out of that situation" he smiles and you feel a warm homey feeling. This must be what an actual household should feel like.

"Morning" you hear Kuroo's mother greet from behind you in a sing song voice.

"Honey you should've been here, I got called a sir today" he smiled at his wife.

"I highly doubt it. Y/N did you call him a sir?" She asks sarcastically before making herself and her husband some coffee.

"Are we going yet?" Tetsurous voice yawns from behind you.

"Whenever you're ready" you reply sarcastically.

"Let's be gone then. Bye mom dad" He waved goodbye before you both left out the front door.

You walked and robe the train in silence heading closer to the university.

When you got off you looked up at the university and felt your heart swell from excitement.

"I love when you get happy about school. It's so geeky and cute" he teases with a classic smirk.

"Shut up. At least I'm not a muscle head" you replied teasing him right back.

"Okay so I don't know where our budget for rent is or if we want to buy anything but let's look at some close ones in the new building" he suggests before pointing to a nice shiny new building maybe a block from the uni.

When you both head up to the flats for sale you are very impressed. They're significantly too nice to be even remotely affordable.

The first one has panoramic windows with a huge living area and two bedrooms.

"It's nice but we can't afford it" you say your thoughts out loud.

"Oh you don't know that. Let's look at the price" he says lifting up some papers and then cringing.

"Jeez you're right not this one" he puts the sheets back down and the two of you walk out.

The next one you guys look at is about three blocks away from the university and a slightly older building so you're already more hopeful about the price.

You both walk in and the current owner greets you. There is a small kitchen and just enough room for a table and a couch. There is only one bedroom and one washroom but they're both decently sized.

"I like it" you state simply.

"I also like it. Plus look out the windows" he suggests pulling back the blinds. It faces the street instead of the next building and the current owner has lots of flowers on the little patio.

"Let's check the price" you suggest.

You both talk it over with the owner and decide to buy the place because it ended up being a decent price. Plus it was a cute place.

When you walked back to Kuroo's house you felt free. It was a weird feeling. You had your own place and a future ahead of you. Plus you had Tetsurou by your side.
