First Name

Hinata and Yachi are already dating for a month but with Yachi's hectic schedules, they don't go out that much often so Hinata decided to call her but she would just say that she's busy. He wanted to hang out with her so badly right now so he went straight to their house. He rang the doorbell and heard some footsteps afterward. The door opens and revealed a brunette woman.

"Good afternoon, Madoka-san! Is Hitoka-chan in there?" Hinata greeted then look inside the house to check for the blonde girl.

"Good afternoon. She's in her room right now," she smiled.

"Thanks, mom!" Hinata sprinted to the manager's room.

Madoka just stands right there, dumbfounded. "Mom?"

When Hinata reached her room, he opens the door and saw Yachi doing something on her desk with a bunch of paper works on the floor.

"Hey, Hitoka-chan! Let's go out!" Hinata beamed from Yachi's door.

"Not now, Hinata. I still have assignments to do," Yachi said without looking at Hinata.

She closed her notebook after finishing the last item in it and took another notebook to answer another assignment.

"Eehh? You're always busy you rarely have time with me," Hinata whined and flops on Yachi's bed.

"I'm really sorry. Maybe next time, okay?" Yachi said, her eyes still fixated on her notebook.

"But I want to go out now," Hinata pouts.

"No can do."

"Then how about we do something?"

"Nope."

"Aww... Hitoka-chan, are you choosing your homework over me?"

Yachi pauses her writing and sigh. She looks at Hinata with a tired face. Even her eye bags are visible.

"I wanted to hang out with you once these are done. But I haven't taken enough sleep yet so I'm going to rest after finishing my assignments. But I promise I will go out with you," Yachi said in a calm voice.

Hinata notices how exhausted she is so he decided to keep quiet. Silence devoured the room. Yachi became worried. She turns her head to check for Hinata. But as soon as she turns her head, Hinata's lips crashed on hers. She was taken aback by his action. She parted from him quickly and adjusted her chair from Hinata a little further. Her face is an explosion of red. Her heart beats insanely fast. She already felt this before when Hinata asked her out but this time, her heart is like racing for a marathon.

"H-Hinata... w-what was that for?!" Yachi exclaimed.

"Call me by my first name or I'll do it again," Hinata grins.

"You just stole my first kiss!" Yachi covered her lips.

"But I'm your boyfriend so I find nothing wrong with that."

Yachi blushes harder and looks away from him. She notices Hinata approaching to her so she grabs a notebook and shields it against his face. Hinata's face made contact with Yachi's notebook, his attempt to kiss the blonde again failed.

"Now you're making me kiss your notebook?" Hinata frowned as he parted from Yachi's notebook.

"I-I'm sorry. It's just that... I'm not used to calling you by your first name," Yachi looks away.

"Then I'll kiss you every time you call me Hinata. Even in public," Hinata made a mischievous smile.

"What?! That's going to be embarrassing!" Yachi blurted out.

"Then starts calling me Shouyou."

"S-Sho... Shouyou."

Yachi thinks she's going to explode just by saying his name. Hinata's face lightens up as he heard his name coming from his girlfriend's lips. He hugs Yachi and giggles.

"I love you, Hitoka-chan."

"I love you, too, Shouyou," Yachi hugs back.

Hinata adjusted his face to kiss Yachi on the cheek. This shocked Yachi. She parted from him while touching the part he just kissed.

"But I said your first name."

"But you're so cute I can't help it," Hinata smiles.

"Geez."

Yachi ate her dinner quietly with her mom. Madoka knows why so she breaks the awkward silence.

"So who got their first kiss stolen away?" Yachi's mom snickers.

Yachi chokes her food. She hurriedly grabs a glass of water and gulps the water down.

"Y-You heard that?!" Yachi looks at her mother with a face as red as a tomato.

"Well, you two were making some noise earlier. By the way, did you finish your homework?"

"Crap!"
