Hinata's heart thumps rapidly as he walks behind the volleyball gym. Yachi called him earlier and she asked him if he can come to the said place because they'll have to talk about something. He thought it is a confession and he's not sure on how he'll respond if it really is a confession. He finally arrived at the said location and saw Yachi standing while leaning her back on the wall, her arms folded behind her back and her head down. She turned her head as she heard some footsteps approaching. Hinata nervously steps near her.

"Sorry for the wait," Hinata scratched the back of his head while sweat escapes his face.

"Ah, no. It's fine. I'm actually the one who needs to apologize for bothering you. I'm sorry," Yachi apologized as she bows her head.

"Um, why did you call me here, by the way?"

"Ah, that's right," Yachi fiddled at the hem of her uniform, her hair is partially covering her blushing face.

She's blushing. Is it really a confession?

"Hi-Hinata... I-I like..." she cuts off as her courage is fading. She's literally trembling all over. She took a deep breath before continuing. "There's someone I like from the club. I was wondering if you can help me out with the letter I'm going to give him since I can't confess directly."

Huh? Is it really me or not?

"S-sure. Who is it?"

Yachi averted her gaze from him, her face turns 3x redder than before. "U-um... Tsukishima-kun."

"...Oh."

Hinata bit his lip. That was unexpected, he thought. Or maybe he just assumed too much that she likes him.

"So... When are you planning to give him the letter?" his eye twitched at his question.

"I'm planning on leaving it in his locker... maybe tomorrow. But I don't know what to write. I'm not really experienced when it comes to this that's why I asked for your help."

Can I back out now? I'm so not liking this.

"Erm... how about try telling him that you like him and the things you like about him and..." he pauses when lump starts to form in his throat.

Yachi's blush fades a little and smiled to him. "Oh. It's such an idiot of me for not knowing such simple things like this. I thought you already have an experience so I went to you. Gladly, I didn't get the wrong person. Thank you."

Yeah. Like, I've had lots of scraps which was supposed to be given to you but it seems like there's no need for me to give those.

"You're welcome. Good luck," is what he said but he is dying to say that she should just give up, she doesn't stand a chance and at least give him a chance. He is dying inside with all of this acts he is doing just for the sake of her happiness.

"Sure. I will," and with that, she left happily while waving to him.

He really wants to see her smile but the fact that she is smiling not because of him hurts a lot. He hurriedly went to his bike and make his way home as fast as he could because the emotion is turning out to be unbearable. He sprinted to his room as he got to his home and lock his room. He stands still whilst leaning his back on the door. The tears he's been controlling finally rushed out from his eyes. Those small sniffles turn to a mess. His body weakens which brought his back slowly sliding on the door downwards and his butt falls on the floor. He covered his face and scream with a croaky voice.

"It hurts... it hurts... Why?" he said in between his hiccups. "Idiot! Idiot! You should've stopped her instead! You really are a dumbass!"

He stared at the ceiling, his vision is blurry because of the tears blocking his view and then to his study table. Those papers on top of it that were supposed to be given to her were laying messily. He thought of composing one again but when he remembered what happened earlier, he gave up, knowing that it's futile. He closed his eyes as the view slowly turns fuzzy. He didn't realize that he had fallen asleep already on the floor.
