Alien

It was a rainy night. Yachi is on her way to her apartment from her work. She always brings some umbrella with her so she won't have to worry much when there is a sudden rain. She was really exhausted this day. Lots of customers came and she has to cook lots of food nonstop. Her arms really hurt and she wants to lay in her bed already. She was a few meters from her apartment when she heard some clanking sound from somewhere. She looks around but she saw nothing but the buildings nearby, few people walking and some cars on the road. Strange, she thought. She continues to walk but heard that loud clanking again. She scans the surrounding but nothing.

"I must be really tired," she said to herself, sighing.

She continues to walk then heard another metallic sound again and this time, the sound was clearer. She was near to the source of that sound. To her right was a dark alley where the trashes are gathered. She stays there for a second and heard another sound. This made her curious so instead of going straight to her home, she went to the alley to find out what causes the sound. She took her phone and opens the flashlight. She focused it on the ground first then on the walls. It was really smelly. She endured the smell and went further. She squinted her eyes when she saw some figure in front of her. It was doing something which she can't see because it was facing its back to her.

"H-hello?" She called. She wondered what kind of person would be staying this night outside and would be doing some work, especially in such place and it's raining.

The figure slowly turns its head and face her. It looks like a person but its ears are longer and it has some antenna on its head like Piccolo's from Dragon Ball. Its bare skin was tanned compare to her. It has a messy, orange hair, even under the rain, it still looks messy. After seeing Yachi, it created some weird sound, probably a scream. It stood up suddenly and its back hits the huge, metal thing on its back. The moment Yachi realized that it is naked, she screamed as well then covers her eyes. Now they are screaming in chorus. When her throat hurts from screaming, she stopped. She clears her throat which made the other creature shut up.

"U-um... what are you doing here... in the middle of the night?" She asked without looking at the creature in front of her.

It responded with some random sounds which she can't understand. Its hands made some gestures while blabbering some alienated words. Yachi was buffering. She raised her arm to stop the creature from blabbering. It stopped, fortunately.

"I don't know if you understand but... stay still. I'll be right back," she said while gesturing that she'll leave and she'll return.

The creature tilted its head as it watched Yachi leave. It continues what it was doing because it has no idea what the person was saying earlier. It fumbles through its stuff and found something. After a few minutes, the rain dripping on its body stopped and a cloth fell on its head. It looks at the thing on its head and found the girl earlier, standing behind him.

"Use that to dry yourself. Though I don't think you understand me," she said while looking at its eyes.

The creature stared at her blankly when it remembered the thing it found earlier. It took that thing and stood up to put it on Yachi. It was a necklace with an orange gem and some black ink moving inside it. Yachi thought that it was very beautiful. But she wondered why did it give her that.

"That's a translator gem. We'll understand each other if you wear that."

Yachi's eyes widened and stared at the creature in front of her. It was smiling. "I'm an alien, by the way."

Yachi is currently in her room. She can't believe that she just adopted some creature from another planet. But the alien said that he'll be staying there for only a few days. She wants to know more about the alien so she left her room and went into the living room. She found the creature fixing the ship-like thing which it was fixing earlier. It was now wearing Yachi's oversized shirt and some pants because she can't bear to look at it without clothes. How about the ship thing-y? That alien has some device which can make things grow bigger or shrink.
