Rachel's POV:

We drive towards the airport and I realize that we're missing something.

"Finn! What about our luggage?!" I yell, to which he laughs.

"Look in the back seat, babe."

I look back to see that he has in fact packed everything. Of course he has. He's perfect.

I smile and look forward, watching the cars around us. As I watch, my eyes become heavy, and I close my eyes.

My eyes open when I'm shaken awake.

"Rachel, sweetie, we're here." Finn grabs my hand and together we go to the back and grab our stuff.

Hand in hand, we walk into the airport.

He already has the tickets, and our luggage is carry on, so we go straight to security.

That's also the thing that I am the most scared of. I hate security. When I was younger, the machine beeped for me when I didn't even have any weapons on me!

I look at the large clock on the wall and see that it's getting late. Finding myself tired, I yawn and lean my head on Finn's shoulder.

We stand still for a while, seeing that the line isn't moving.

I can't imagine a life without Finn, to be honest.

I used to be that girl that was bullied, and I thought I was the best of the best, and then I met Finn.

I automatically knew he was the one.

It's like, perfect plus perfect equals perfection at its finest.

Finn takes a step forward, and I realize that the line is finally moving again. I take off my shoes and sweater, and walk through security.

I hold my breath, hoping the machine doesn't beep for me.

We finally make our way past security, and I smile since the machine didn't beep for either of us.

I walk with my left hand holding Finns right hand, and my right hand holding my luggage.

Finn tried taking the luggage from me a few times since he wants to act like the gentleman. But I refuse.

We finally get to the gate, sand I sit down at the seat. It's extremely uncomfortable, and I have to move around before getting slightly comfortable.

I then remember that when we board, they always say the place where we are going to land, and I smirk.

Right after I sit down, Finn takes my hand.

"We get to get on the plane early." He says with a wink.

Of course. He knew they would say the name of the place.

"I love you." I say with a laugh.

Finn hands our tickets to the man at the table and we walk onto the empty plane.

We sit down and I notice that my TV doesn't work.

I groan and sit down. I put my stuff below the seat in front of me, and close my eyes.

Twenty minutes until takeoff. Twenty minutes until our mystery honeymoon begins.

I feel soft lips on my forehead and pull myself closer to the warmth of Finns body.

I couldn't have imagined a better husband, and I am so grateful for all of the work he has put into this honeymoon.

I start to open my eyes realizing that we are already in the sky.

I look up at Finn.

"Sweetie? What time is it? And when will we be there? And where are we going?"

"It's midnight right now, and we will be there in ten minutes. And like I said, it's a surprise." He says with a wink.

Just the way he winks melts my heart.

The thing is, as much as I wanted to go to Paris, I can tell we aren't going there. He doesn't really have the money to fly us over there.

I bury my head into Finns chest as we begin to decend.

I have never liked the feeling of being on a plane. Especially the feeling of my ears popping.

He squeezes me gently and I look out the window.

The ground becomes more and more clear, and soon enough, I feel the plane land.

I let out the breath I didn't know I am holding.

The muffled voice of the captain takes over the plane.

"We would like to thank you all for flying with Jet Blue! And welcome to New York."

I gasp and look at Finn, my eyes immediately filling with tears.

New York.

My home. The home where my heart belongs.

Finn knows me so well.

He is a genius.

I want to thank him over and over again, but when I open my mouth, no words come out.

He looks down at me, "If you don't like it then we-"

I shut him up with a kiss.

A nice and easy kiss, but enough to feel him relax and just enough so he knows how happy I am.

We finally get off the plane and grab our bags.

I wrap my arm around Finns waist, while his arm is around my shoulders.

I feel his phone vibrate in his pocket.

He takes it out and looks at it.

"I have to take this." He says, "wait right here."

He grabs his phone and walks off.

Well, at least it started in a romantic way.

Kind of.
