Mr. Schue's POV:

I'm pacing around my room, constantly looking at my watch.

Emma arrived in Miami six hours ago, at ten am. The girls decided to take her out to the mall and spa, or whatever girls do, while I prepare.

Tonight, the plan is that I'm going to propose to the love of my life. I'm terrified though.

What if I mess up?

You've practiced this enough times. You won't mess up.

What if she says no?

She's not going to say no, stupid. She loves you.

What if it starts raining?

You're in Miami. The longest the rain would last is a half hour anyways.

"Okay. Enough talking to your conscience. Focus. You need to make this perfect." I say to myself.

I fix up my suit, and text Rachel.

'She's wearing a fancy dress. Right?'

She replies seconds later.

'Yeah. She looks stunning. Prepare to be amazed. ;)'

I laugh, and check my watch again. One more hour.

I look in the mirror, fix my hair, pat down my suit, and put on my shoes.

I put the speech I wrote in my pocket, along with my tissues. I then open my suitcase to reveal the box in which the ring lies.

Wrapping my fingers around the small box, I peek inside to make sure the ring is still there.

The ring has a diamond which sparkles just the perfect way. It was easy to choose since I remember seeing Emma admire it when we went to Tiffanys. Yes, I bought the ring there.

 One hour left.

I call up Finn and the guys to make sure the beach is prepared. I still can't believe I am trusting them to set up the beach for the proposal.

The room is silent, so I turn on some music.

Many songs later, I check my watch and see that I have half an hour.

I walk out of my room and into the dull hallway. I walk quickly to the elevator and stand inside. It feels like eternity before the doors open again in the lobby.

"Mr. Schue! Everything's set up. Emma will be there in twenty minutes. Hurry!" A voice yells from across the lobby.

I look at the person who's yelling, and notice that it was Finn. I nod, and run over to him.

"The rest of the guys are outside at the beach. It's a five minute walk. Everything is set up and looks amazing."

"The candles are all in place?" I ask, and he nods

"And the roses?" I ask, and he laughs.

"You need to calm down! Everything is in place."

We continue running towards the beach, and finally arrive.

The guys are all lined up, each holding a single rose. The plan is that they will line up with space in between each person. When Emma arrives, they will each hand her a single rose. By the end, she should have a dozen roses. I'm giving some of the guys two roses, since we don't have enough people.

I have made each guy wear their sectionals outfits, which is just a navy suit.

Puck walks over, and places his hand on my shoulder.
