Rachel's POV:

I lean my head on Finn's shoulder, and close my eyes. I'm not really surprised. I knew we would win. We were amazing. There wasn't a note that we missed, and we all were in sync for everything.

The plane ride home was boring. Everyone was sleeping, and no one wanted to burst out in song with me. I started singing half way through the flight, hoping that other people would join in with me. All I got out of that was people telling me to shut up.

The bus pulls up to our school, and I sigh. Back to reality.

Going from paradise to hell, all within a day. Why can't I just stay in Florida? I don't want to get bullied today. I'm not in the mood.

Finn tightens his grip around my shoulder as the bus stops. We all walk off the bus, pulling our bags with us. I'm not really sure why we can't just go home. Instead, we have to come hang out at school. I guess it's so that we can put the trophy in the case.

"I'm proud of you guys." Mr. Schue says once we all get off the bus.

Mr. Schue and Ms. Pillsbury rushed to open the doors for us, and we walk into school behind them.

The first people I see are the football team, and I do what I always do. Raise my head up high, and don't make eye contact.  Sadly, they still walk towards us. I feel my heart beat speed up, and I bite my lip.

"Yo gay club." They yell, and I roll my eyes.

"Nice job at sectionals." They say, and pat Finn and Puck on their backs.

I smile, letting out the breath that I had been holding.

"I thought they were gonna slushy us!" I whisper to Finn.

"They can be nice guys at times." He whispers back smiling.

I smile, and continue walking with the rest of the glee club towards the choir room.

We enter the room one by one. Each of us smiling proudly, as if we just got accepted to be on Broadway.

We place the trophy in its case, and the bell rings, ending our moment. I hurry off to class. I have science, and that would suck if I missed that.

I rush off to science. I'm in AP biology. My dads always told me that in order to be a Broadway star. I have to get good grades.

The only other person that is in my science class that I'm close to is Mike Chang. Everyone else are shy nerds. I reach the classroom, and take my seat in front. Mike walks in, and takes the seat next to me.

Finally, the rest of the class walks in. Everyone sits down, no one talking. I look at the clock, seeing that the teacher is two minutes late. I tap my foot, counting the seconds that the teacher is late.

One hundred sixty  seconds late.

Once hundred seventy seconds late.

Three minutes late.

I open my notebook and doodle a little, drawing mostly hearts.

I look at the clock again.

Five minutes late.

I groan, and stand up. I put a smile on my face, and face the rest of the class.

"So why don't we go around the room, and tell each other our names!"

I hear some mumbling. Not catching a single name.

"Well, why don't we sing a song?" I smile again. I hear many nos, and I frown.

"You guys are lame." I whine, and sit back down. Mike pats my back, laughing at me.

"It's okay Rach. Maybe they just don't have the same amount of musical talent that you have." He shrugs, and I nod.

A lady walks in, with a Starbucks coffee in one hand.

"Hey, sorry I'm late." She says, and I look at Mike.

"Who is she?" I whisper.

"I'm the substitute." She says loudly, and I sigh. I'm awful at whispering.

"You see, your teacher is sick. And Ms. Holliday was supposed to be your sub, but she has a hangover or something. So here I am." She rolls her eyes.

"Now, today we will be learning some Calculus." She starts, and I raise my hand.

"Yes, person in the front whose name I do not know." She says, pointing at me.

"Well, this is a biology class. Calculus is math." I tell her.

"Thanks captain obvious." She scoffs. "But here's the thing. I don't care."

I then sit through the rest of the class, blocking out all of the sound she makes. I can't let any unecessary information enter my brain.

Finally, the bell rings. I walk out of class, and see Jacob. Jacob ben Israel is probably the weirdest boy I have ever met. He runs some sort of news thing, and has this obsession with boobs. But he probably will never get to see any in person, because he is a freak.

I try to avoid him, so that he won't talk to me. Sadly, he still sees me.

"Rachel! Can I interview you for my -"

"Sure." I force a smile.

"What is it like to have those boob and -"

I roll my eyes and cut him off, "That's enough for today, Jacob."

I walk away, and thankfully he doesn't follow me.

I hurry off to my locker, and smile when I see a picture of Finn.

It's a picture of us together. He is talking to everyone during glee club, and I am standing next to him and looking up at his face.

I trace my fingers along the picture, and try to remember what Mercedes called us once.

Finchel.

A/N

Sorry it's such a short chapter! I've been insanely busy.

I have to learn a years worth a math and spanish within two months. And I have also been working at a hospital.

What have you guys been doing this summer?

I love all you guys, and now I need to go build my bed. (Long story short, my bed was old so my parents threw it out. I had no clue they were throwing it out, but one day I got home and saw that my bed was gone. So we went to Ikea and bought my new bed. Ugh but I have to build it myself since my parents never have time.)

And I need to walk my cousins dog (I'm watching their dog for a week). But their dog ate a bag of seashells (not sure why we have that) and so now she's been pooping shells. It's weird, but I feel so bad.

Ahahaha okay. Well that's my hectic summer.

DON'T FORGET TO VOTE AND KEEP READING AND PLEASE CONTINUE BEING PERFECT PEOPLE.

I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.
