Finns POV:
I answer the phone seeing that it is Puck calling.
"Finn. Dude. Are you in New York yet?"
"Um. Yeah. Why?"
"Okay, okay. So the glee club has decided to be very VERY nice." He says.
"And?" I ask, getting slightly impatient.
"Well, we planned something, yadayadayada we are coming early tomorrow morning. Basically, whatever you were planning, cancel it. Please. Just enjoy your time with Rachel."
"Oh ok. Yeah. Of course. I obviously trust you." I roll my eyes.
"Finn, I hear the sarcasm in your voice. Just please please please trust me." He begs.
"Okay, fine. I trust you. But I have to go."
I hang up, and walk back to Rachel.
I don't really understand why I trust him. But something tells me that I won't regret it.
Rachel gives me a confused look, but luckily ignores it.
I am about to tell Rachel what puck said, when I get a text.
I grab my phone and see that it is a text from Puck saying, 'DONT TELL RACHEL'
shit.
Whatever.
"So what's the plan?" Rachel asks with her sparkling eyes looking into mine.
"I- Um- Well- It's a surprise." I guess in a way I didn't lie. That's good, right?
I grab her hand and together we walk out of the airport.
Her hand fits in mine like a puzzle piece. Together, we are the perfect puzzle.
I love being by her side. That way, if any dicks try flirting with her, I can beat them up on the spot.
"Come on babe. You must be tired. Let's get a taxi and head to the hotel."
I wonder if I can get my money back for the Broadway tickets.
We walk outside and wave down a taxi.
I can tell that Rachel is overwhelmingly happy because of the way her eyes are sparkling.
We sit down and I give the driver the address.
The hotel that we are staying at isn't perfect, but it is nice enough for a honeymoon.
I feel awful though since Rachel deserves the best.
She leans her head on my shoulder, and curls her legs up.
I kiss her forehead and check my texts.
It is too late outside and I can tell Rachel's tired.
My phone says that I have no new texts, so I shut off my phone and look out the window.
We finally get to the hotel and I pay the driver.
I look down and see that Rachel is fast asleep, and I can hear soft snores escaping her lips.
Not wanting to wake her up, I carry her like a baby, dragging our suitcases behind me.
Luckily, Rachel is skinny and light, so it isn't that bad.
We get into the hotel and I check in.
After getting the card, I bring Rachel and the bags into the elevator.
We are in room 3E, so it doesn't take the elevator too long.
It's times like this that I'm thankful for going to the gym.
I step out of the elevator and realize that I dropped a bag.
The doors start to close.
"Crap." I say, and stick out my foot to prevent the doors from closing.
Luckily, they open up again, so I grab my bag.
I am surprised that Rachel hasn't woken up yet.
I grab the card and slide it into the slot on the door.
I kick open the door with my foot and walk in to see that the room is nicely prepared.
I put Rachel down on the bed and kiss her cheek. I then pull out my phone to see that I have a new text from Puck.
'Are you at the hotel yet?'
I reply yes, and take off my shirt.
I slide my pants too so I am left in boxers.
I climb into bed next to Rachel, and pull her close.
My phone buzzes alarming me that I have received a text.
'Ok. Well in the morning, tell Rachel to go on the balcony. Something was left for her. We sent something for the hotel to leave in your room. Just tell her it's from you.'
I smile and decide to just tell her in the morning.
I put my phone down next to me, and close my eyes.
___
I wake up the next morning and look over and see that Rachel is still fast asleep.
I sit up too fast and feel dizzy, so I lie back down.
Next thing I know, I have fallen off the bed and onto the carpeted floor.
I guess the noise was too loud, because I hear a voice say, " where are we?" I look over and see a confused Rachel.
I smile and tell her everything that had happened last night.
"Oh and also, go onto the porch. I left you something." Not sure what is on the porch, I follow behind her.
I hear her gasp, which must be a good sign.
She turns around with tears in her eyes and hugs me.
"They are gorgeous." She says, and i look to find that there is a dozen roses in a vase.
I smile and we kiss.
It's a simple, yet passionate kiss. But yet I can't help but feel guilty for taking credit of something that I didn't do.
Things begin to get heated and I pick Rachel up by her waist.
I carry her to my bed and lie her down, not breaking the kiss.
I tug at her shirt, and slide it off of her body.
I am about to pull down her pants when my phone vibrates.
Rachel giggles and I groan, and look over at the object that ruined the best moment of my life.
Of course. A text from puck.
It says, 'just landed. Come to broadway at 5:30 tonight. Both of you should wear something nice and fancy. '
At first I did not know whether to trust Puck to plan my honeymoon with Rachel. But after the roses, I realize that Puck actually has a nice side to him. He just never showed it to the world.
