*EDWARD'S POV*
My eyes are closed, finally relaxed after Alice's visit. I feel a lot more focused now, like I've come to terms with reality. I let myself sink into the shape of the bed I bought for Bella, and think of her. I remember the times we spent here, laying contently. I remember the soft kisses, and for a brief moment, I feel her lips touching mine. Although, when my eyes flicker open, I'm alone. If I were still human, I'd feel a tear trickling down my cheek. I reach my arms out for her, and feel her warm body there. A whimper escapes my mouth, and I let it. For I know that Bella isn't there, and as I'm imagining her human, she can't be.
"I miss you, Bells" I whisper.
