Zadie
"Zahra? What are you doing here?"
Shit. I forget my Aunt Shelia was a caterer. She was the sister of my dad and the least liked. Only because she always gossiping about someone which is the last thing I needed. If she sees me with Chris I just know her big mouth will tell my dad before I could even blink.
"Oh. Um...I'm here for a school project. My journalism class to be exact." I spoke quickly. She raised her eyebrow.
"Really? What's the project over?" She asked switching her weight all onto one leg. As she spoke I notice Chris making his way through the crowd. Fuck.
"Um the celebrity life. I'm shadowing Chris Brown actually." I mumbled praying someone would stop Chris.
"Chris brown? Hold up is this still the Zadie I know? The one that has Chris Brown posters all over her room—"
"Had. Then I moved in with Julia." I corrected. She chuckled and shook her head.
"Here," Chris murmured handing me the glass of champagne. I gulped and took the glass slowly. Luckily he didn't notice my aunt eyeing us closely.
"I hope that's sparkling. Your still seven—"
"Hungry! I'm still severely hungry I know." I yelled cutting her off gaining Chris attention. "Your so right. Bring me back some hors d'oeuvres, please? That is your job right?" I mentioned. She nodded, confused, and walked towards the back where she originally was going.
"You knew her?" Chris asked with an eye brow raised.
"Oh yeah, she's an old family friend." I mumbled waving it off. He chuckled and nodded.
"You know, we could leave to go get some food if you want."
I raised my eyebrow, "Really?" He nodded.
"I made my appearance. Besides I don't feel like being here anymore anyway."
I smiled which caused a smile to spread across his face. He rested his hand on my lower back as we began to exit, occasionally saying goodbye to those who greeted us. Thank god. I didn't want my aunt to come back and question me some more. Lord knows I couldn't come up with better lies quick enough. As we walked outside I damn near tripped and bust my ass with all the flashing lights hitting me in the eye. I groaned as the paparazzi flooded us with questions causing Chris to grab my hand tightly as his body guard lead us to his car. I never understood how Chris could deal with this every single day he walks out this house. They're so obnoxious. Now I see why most celebs curse them out, their rude and has no respect for privacy.
We picked up some food and headed back to Chris's house. Me being a home body, I was more than happy to sit in the house and do nothing with him. Once we got to his house, I quickly ran upstairs to change making sure I didn't ruin any of the things Chris bought me. I changed into the shirt I slept in before, and let loose of my bun letting my hair fall and bounce onto my shoulders. As I ran my fingers through my hair, I could feel Chris arms snake around my waist as he kissed my neck.
"Are you coming down to eat?" He asked his voice coming out husky against my neck.
"Yeah, I was just about to come down now." I smiled kissing his cheek before jogging out the room and down the stairs. I wasn't lying when I said I was hungry earlier to cover up my aunt revealing my age. I actually was, so I happily took my Chinese food, my mouth watering just at the sight of it.
