Zadie

Last night, Chris made love to me. I have to say waking up to his bare chest made me the happiest girl alive. I sat up, looking down at Chris who was still knocked out and to make it worst it was going on 1 o'clock in the afternoon. We were starting to sleep the day away, even though we did stay up all night. He is so cute when he sleep. I could watch him sleep all day if my stomach wasn't eating me from the inside out. I frowned as my stomach growled for the fifth time. I sighed and rolled out of Chris grip, only for him to pull me closer.

"No, Chris. Let me go." I whined.

"Where you going?" His voice is so sexy when it's all groggy.

"To shower." I smiled kissing his nose. He nodded and released his grip on my waist. I slid out of bed and made my way to the bathroom, cutting the shower on. Once the water was nice and warm I jumped in. I stood under the water, letting the warmth hit my skin as the fog covered the glass. It felt so relaxing so sooth the numbness in my legs. Not even five minutes in the door swung open revealing Chris as he joined me in the shower. He smirks at me as he kiss my shoulder blade while grabbing his soap. I giggled.

"Don't get any ideas." I warned. "I'm too hungry for any funny business." He chuckles.

"Let's go get some food then." He mentioned. I shook my head.

"I'm not really in the mood to go to a restaurant. I think I'm just going to run to the store and find something to cook." I retorted rinsing off the soap that was on my body and the shampoo out my hair.

"That's fine. It's some cash on the counter in the kitchen." He shrugged. I nodded as I stepped out the shower, leaving him to wash up.

Since my hair was wet I threw it up in a ponytail and quickly slid some clothes on. I placed on some ripped jeans and a zip up jacket not even trying to put a bra on. I was in those type of moods. Before I could leave I checked on Chris who was laying in the bed with a towel wrapped around his waist, falling back asleep.

"Chris get up. I know you can't be this tired. It's damn near 2 in the afternoon." He groaned and shrugged. I pursed my lips. "Fine. When I get back you better be up." I mumbled grabbing my phone and my keys.

I drove down to the nearest grocery store and decided on making fried fish. It's something different and I don't think Chris ever seen me fry fish. While I was in the store I got an text from Julia.

Julia🤓: Are you okay? How did he take it?

Ugh. I know she is going to kill me when I tell her I didn't tell him. I just couldn't last night. Not after he finally told me how he feels. But I must say last night made me realize I need to be truthful with him. It's only right because if I truly loved him, I wouldn't be dragging him along like this. I'll just tell him next week. After everything has died down.

After buying everything thing from the store, I got back to Chris house carrying all the bags in with one hand.

"Babe!" I called out. Seconds later I could hear his feet jogging down the steps.

"What's up? What you get?"

"Well I got options because I didn't know which one you prefer, but I got fish, shrimp and lobster. I was going to grill the lobster and fry the rest." Chris licked his lips and nodded.

"Shit sounds good to me." I smiled as he began helping me unload the bags and prepare to cook. I honestly never cooked all this by myself so I was secretly hoping he would take over before I burn the house down.
