They huddled around the bed, they were in the institutes medical room, Clary laid on the white linen sheets asleep, but alive.

Behind her closed her they saw the movements, it was as if she was having nightmares just not able to wake up, after sometime she opened her eyes exposing the green forest behind.

She stared at Jace then Alec, something stirred in her stomach, it can't be jealousy, can it?

"Earth to Clary, you're awake sleeping beauty, why don't you get dressed while the boys and I wait in the library, Isabelle here will kindly wait and show you the way, won't you love?" Amelia stated while holding on to both of Isabelle's shoulders, she bore her eyes in her eyes until Isabelle gave in, rolling her eyes, she took the pile of clothes and threw it on the bed, Amelia dragged both Jace and Alec out the door and walked the winding corridor.

"Don't mention anything about her mum, we just can't, as soon as we say she's taken she will go out alone to find her, she doesn't know she's one of us" Amelia blurted out without looking at them in the eyes.

"Exactly what I was going to" Alec stated with no emotion.

"Whatever you said" Jace blurred out while examining his stele.

Rolling her golden like eyes she walked towards the library, she grasped the cold door handle before opening the door, the cold draft brushed against her cheeks, exposing the blood like kiss, it was comforting the smell of books, the secrets each one held, just sitting against the wooden shelves waiting to answer questions swimming in the minds of people.

Hodge sat behind his desk, she always wondered how does one sit like they owe everything when in fact they don't, the world is the one controlling him not the other way round.

All three walked in taking a seat in their normal places.

They sat there minding their own business, boredom bore into her mind taking away her sanity, she sat up straight and walked towards a shelf of worn out books, she dragged her fingers against the spine of each one a desire for one book lingered in her mind.

She grabbed onto the spine and with all might tried taking it out, the book wouldn't budge, she tried again and again until his voice rang in her ears.

"Leave that alone, it's not your place to read that" Hodge whispered, it held onto the air, almost like fragments of screams from the lost souls, making the hair on her spine raise.

"Is it the last edition to Harry Potter, you know a book that was never published" she asked with curiosity while sarcasm dropped like venom against the weapon used for an enemy.

"You really should stop believing in fairy tails" Hodge explained looking up to her.

"Amelia go outside, now" Alec shouted while dragging her out of the library to the empty corridor.

They could hear the chuckles from Jace turning into laughter, Hodge too joined in.

Before Amelia could blurt any nonsense they saw the two petite figures walking towards them, both wearing black, fitting with this world, a tall figure belonging to Simon too followed behind, Amelia forgot about everything and ran to him, he caught her mid way in a hug, she latched onto him. Clary's hair stood out the most, like fire, it was the same feeling Alec felt, the burning of jealousy, boy does that hurt.

He stared at his feet ignoring the two, but he was lost in time, when the familiar face stood in front of him, placing a kiss against his cheeks.
