Restless nights made her stay awake, her eyes lustfully traced the embroidered designs on the ceiling, each intervening like the veins beneath her fragile skin.

The curtain danced to the wind, creating shapeless wings, the fluttering noice echoed around the room, her hair draped the pillow, sleeping in a pool of her hair. Her heart thumped against her ribs, her mind raced with questions.

She closed her eyes for a few minutes, but must of drifted to sleep, she awoke, her eyes opened drifting around the room, she was resting on her right side now facing the windows, she could feel the gentle warm breath against her neck, the luke warmth grazed against her skin, her breath hitched and she spun around pushing who ever it was, tumbling over she fell on top of the body, a low growl escaped from its throat, she felt the mangled body underneath.

"You should welcome your fellow friends before attacking them" the voice whispered, it belonged to Sebastian, his voice made her skin crawl but made her heart race.

She jumped off him and raced to the door but then was held back, he cradled on top of her, pinning her body down on the floor, her eyes became glass from his hold, his nails dug into her skin, tears escaped from her sleepy eyes, he came close to her body inches away from her face, she saw the moonlight kiss his grey hair, adjusting to the dark cloudy eyes, she felt his hands rest upon her waist, leaning closer he grabbed her throat, she was left to suffocate, she helplessly looked into his eyes, he smiled while she cried, her chest arched as she gasped for air, he released his grip and pushed her head against the wooden floor, and left her breathing harshly.

"I guess I make everyone breathless" he mocked while playing with her hair, he traced her face, and placed his thumbs against her cheeks, wiping her tears away, she smiled at him and held his hands, she leaned in, and punched him in the nose, he whipped his head back, blood splattered everywhere, she was left with a bloody hand him with a bloody nose.

He chuckled while wiping the blood away with the back of his hands. He pushed his hair back and pinned her against the wall, her heart fluttered against her rib cage like butterflies wanting to escape. He leaned closer and placed a gentle kiss against her soft lips, she hesitated first but kissed back, the familiar touch brought memories.

He took a step back and settled her on the ground and sat on the bed, resting his elbows on his thighs.

"Have you made your mind up?" He asked while looking at her, his wispy hair rested upon his eyes, innocent but the sense of evil lingered around the room.

"It's been a week, are you joining me or not" he added, frustration etched is way into his voice.

"I don't know, okay? Just give me time-I don't think I can do this" she added sliding down against the wall sitting on the floor, she brought her knees towards her chest and rested her head upon her knees.

"For me, do this for me, we've always wanted this, for power, you really want Valentine controlling everything while we stand back and watch, don't give up on me" he stood up and kneeled beside her and held her soft hands, with his right hand he lifted her chin.

She looked up with glassy eyes and smiled, she puffed her cheeks and smiled at him a twisted sinister smile, her answer written on her face.

He helped her stand up and both sat beside each other, while they fell backwards looking up the ceiling with no words going to and forth, the past came back to her, fragments of distorted images flashed beyond her eyes.
