Act Two Scene One

Narrator: It would seem this is the end of their friendship, but that'd be a really short movie. They didn't talk for a while after their fight. Oliver did start to miss Jackson though, but he had no clue where to start. He said how he felt and thought he was right. But he still missed his friend a lot. 

Oliver: I just don't know what to do, Aiden! I mean, I really want to be his friend and I thought it over and decided that it's best to be his friend, but how do I make up with him after that? 

 Aiden: Make up by making out. -finger guns- 

 Oliver: That's what got me in this problem in the first place... I asked my mom but she didn't help a whole lot either... 

 -cut to Oliver's room -  

 OM: -knocks and walks in- Honey, are you okay? You haven't left your room for days. 

 Oliver: Yeah, it's just... Something at school... 

 OM: -sits next to him on the bed- Wanna talk about it? 

 Oliver: -cries and hugs her- ALL MY FRIENDS ARE GAY! 

 OM: Oh, no. That's a huge shame. -her tones softens at the realization that he really is upset- Aww, honey. I'm so sorry- it's gonna be okay. It's like when I found out your dad was gay. 

 Oliver: -looks up in alarm- What if it's like, genetic?! Oh God! 

 OM: Oliver Patrick! -she slaps him upside the head- Watch your mouth! Have you been hanging out with those seculars again? Maybe we should move you back to St. Jude's Catholic...It sure sounds like that would be the best thing to do... 

 Oliver: -shakes his head sadly- Naw, mom. I'm already going to Lady Baltimore's, and it would suck to move in the middle of the semester- besides, I have friends here now... 

 OM: I thought they were all gay. Be sure you don't spend too much time with them- it could be contagious... 

 Oliver: Okay, mom...I'll see you later... 

 -OM exits-  

 -cuts back to school- 

 Aiden: -bursts out laughing-  

 -Aiden starts singing the Queer Song (Edited Version)- 

 Oliver: -looks horrified- How many times do I have to tell you, I'm not gay. Please...stop... 

 Aiden: Well, maybe the Halloween party this weekend will get your mind off things.  

 Oliver: Is it a costume party? I don't have a costume. But I could do with a party. Oh, man. I need a costume... 

Aiden: Be a sexy nurse! That always works! 

Oliver: -half laughs- No, I'll find something...a bit more traditional. 

-Oliver exits. Aiden's phone chimes. She reads the text to the audience- 

Aiden: Okay, it's a text from Jackson...Hmm.. 'Gonna wear this to the party-do you think it looks okay?' 

-Aiden's face quickly goes to shock, then to excitement- 

Aiden: Oh, this is gonna be the best. Party. Ever.
