A/N: Wow

Narrator: That day was one of the best Oliver had ever had. Sure, he had felt the rush of a new girlfriend before, but never in the way he felt with Jackson. He made up his mind that it was because he actually loved Jackson. The couple held hands in every class they shared and they met after every period to make sure this day actually was a reality, not just some daydream. Then, all hell broke loose in fourth period...

Teacher: Mr. Patrick, you're checking out. Take your things to the main office.  -Oliver looks to Jackson and they exchange frightened looks-

Oliver: I'll come over when you get home, okay? I love you.

Jackson: Okay. I love you too. -quick kiss-

-Oliver walks to the office to find his frenzied mother rushing around, her eyes darting around looking for him fearfully-

OM: OLIVER PATRICK OH MY GOODNESS WHERE WERE YOU HOW DARE YOU RUN OFF LIKE THAT SCARING ME AND YOUR FATHER HALF TO DEATH YOU KNOW BETTER THAN THAT WHERE WOULD YOU GO THAT YOU COULDN'T CALL OR-

Narrator: This went on for several hours. In the car-

OM: YOU COULD HAVE BEEN DEAD OR-

 Narrator: At the house-

 OM: DOING DRUGS-

 Narrator: -and in the supermarket.

OM: WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? WERE YOU WITH THOSE GAYS AGAIN? DID THEY MAKE YOU JOIN A CULT? DID YOU DO ANY BLOOD RITUALS? DID YOU LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY? YOU KNOW GOD SEES EVERYTHING, OLIVER PATRICK. EVERYTHING, AND PREMARITAL SEX IS A SIN. A SIN, OLIVER! NO WOMAN WILL WANT YOU IF YOU'RE NOT PURE.

-She's throwing cabbage into the cart, completely oblivious to what she's buying or what attention she's attracting.-

Oliver: -looks nervous- Heh, you're funny, mom.

Narrator: Oliver knew he couldn't lie to his mother- sure, he'd realized he was gay, but that didn't change his Catholic morals. Plus, his mom would be pissed if she learned he had not only lost his virginity, but to a guy never the less. Actually, she'd probably strike preemptively on the spot.

OM: -Looks at her son closely and her eyes widen- Oh- oh my goodness. Something did happen. TELL ME. -she slaps him-

Oliver: Mom, it's fine. Stop, please...

OM: OLIVER PATRICK, YOU TELL ME OR I'LL-

 Oliver: I'M SORRY! I don't-

OM: WHAT DID YOU DO?! WHO DID YOU FU-

 Oliver: Jackson!

-The color drains from her face and she becomes horrified. She looks faint-

OM: What? W-what did you- -she takes a deep breath to keep herself on her feet- What did you just say? Oliver Johnathon Patrick, you tell me wha-

Oliver: -starts to panic- Ugh- that's, uh...who I- -hisses- I fucked a guy!

OM: This is NOT funny! You tell me what is really going on! Homosexuality is a serious matter, Oliver, and not something to be joked about.

Oliver: -rolls his eyes- I. Fucked. -thrusts his hips- A. Guy.

 OM: -faints-

-Cuts to Oliver's house where OM is lying on the couch, shaking with tea in her hand.-

Priest: It's going to be just fine, Mary. Just fine. They have places where they can fix this.

OM: I just knew this would happen. His father's this way. I just knew-

Priest: Shh, it's all right. Everyone is lured by Satan's beckoning throughout their lives. We just have to be strong enough to return to the light of the Lord Jesus Christ, our savior. I just need to speak to Oliver alo-

Oliver: No. Absolutely not. I'm not going to one of those- those- camps. It won't fix me. All those places do is teach you to hate yourself, I've done research and most everyone who comes out of those hellholes commits suicide. It won't help me, it'll just make everything worse.-Turning to his mother-  Mom, I love him. And he loves me. Please don't do-

Priest: Son, this isn't a healthy lifestyle. There is something sick about all of-

Oliver: Shut UP! SHUT UP! Don't tell me who I can love! -He runs outside down the sidewalk, towards Jackson's house-
