16. Connect the stars

I might not be able to get the next chapter in so! Sorry I got grounded so I'll Try as hard as I can!

Dipper pov

My breath was quick as I ran. The streets were dark and I had only seen a couple cars go by. I had stopped running when I had found a public park. I was so tired I needed a break and I needed to think of what I was doing. I sat in the grass, It was damp and cold which felt nice from how hot I was. I sighed and looked up at the crystal lights that shined down. I need to talk to Bill. But in person. I put my hand in my packet and grabbed my phone. I turned it on and type in my password which was bdipper. Which stood for the big Dipper.

I clicked onto the call app and Saw Bills contact. I didn't have many so I saw it instantly. I inhaled and exhaled, trying to relax myself before pressing call. Soon I tapped the button and put it up to my ear. I was nervous but determined. I had to do this for my own self. I waited, all I heard was a ring over and over again till- "Hello?" I heard Bill's voice on the other end of the phone. I blushed and my eye widened, I was surprised he picked up. "h-hey Bill?." I asked in almost a question. I was scared if he was mad at me. "What's up Pinetree?" Bill said in a cheerful voice. I sighed in relief, "u-uh we need to talk..." I almost whispered. It was silent for a second before I heard him speak up. "What do you need?" Bill stated but seemed a bit dull. "N-not on the phone but in person. Do you know the park that's near the elementary school?" I put my head into my knees. "You want me to meet you there?" Billed asked and I heard some ruffles in the background. "Yes please..." I mumble but I guess he heard me cause he hummed "I'll be there in about five minutes." Bill lastly said before the phone call was ended. I sighed and l spread my arms out then fell onto the grass. I looked back up at the stars. I closed my eyes, trying to think of what to say when he got here.

The wind brushed across my face. My mind was completely blank, all I heard was the wind in the air. "Hey there Pinetree" I jumped up at the voice. I looked over to the voice to see it was just Bill. I sighed and laid back down. "God you scared me" I stated and closed my eyes again. I was trying to keep normal but my heart was racing. I heard him sit down next to me and lay down. I opened one eyes and looked next to me to see his face. It was dark however there was enough light to see it. I opened both of my eyes and looked up at the sky. "It's a nice night" Bill broke the silence. I hummed in response and shifted a bit. "You like stars? or you just looking" Bill lightly chuckled. "Oh! I love them! I want to travel the earth but because of- reasons I have always like to study the constellations." I stated, the reasons was because of my birthmark. "You like them?" I asked and looked at him. He nodded, "I've always liked the fact that something so far can shine so bright even if its just mixes of gasses." Bill smiled, and Looked at me. Are eyes met. Bill's eyes we're relaxed and his smile was warm. I blushed and thought for a sec. "You know... I have this weird thing about me that got me into connecting the stars." I smiled and my eyes looked away from him. He had a questionable look on his face. "just don't laugh okay." I was kinda scared. He nodded and kept watching me.

I sat up and looked at him. He sat up as well and watched me very closely. I removed my hat and put my hand on my forehead, Maybe this will make him trust me. I pushed up my bangs to reveal my Birthmark. I closed my eyes fearing the worst. It had been a couple a seconds and I had heard no reaction. I opened one of my eyes slowly and looked at his sparkling eyes. I watched as he jumped on me. My eyes widened and I fell back, my eyes looked up to see his body hovering over mine. I watched as Bill's thumb rubbed over my birthmark. I felt him trace the the symbol, I looked at his eyes to see he didn't even realize what position we were in. "I-I know I'm a freak..." I stated, I didn't know why that came out of my mouth. He looked down at me with wide eyes "A freak!? Dipper this is so cool! I have a birthmark kinda like that" Bill raised his left hand to show a triangle on the back of his hand.

I grabbed his hand and rubbed my thumb over it. "I guess were both special-" I looked back up at him to see how close are faces were now. Did he move closer or did I? I was still on the ground so I don't think I moved closer. I blushed and kept looking into his eyes. My eyes relaxed like I was in a trance almost. I let go of his hand and laid it on the grass above my head. We were silent. Suddenly I felt as his face got closer to me, my face was hot and I felt his warm face which made the air between us hot. I wanted to kiss him so badly! I didn't want to wait! Before I knew it I pushed my head up and connected are lips together. My mind almost felt tingly and my stomach began to flip .

Bill almost immediately kissed back. He pushed my head back on the ground and his body got closer to me. I rapped my arms around his neck and then put my fingers threw this silky hair. I was enjoying the moment so much I didn't even think about what was going on. Bill was kissing me! In the dark! at the Park! Soon those thoughts went threw my head and I pulled back and looked away. Bill panted lightly and looked at me. I was so embarrassed. I didn't know what to do! "s-sorry, did I force it?" Bill question and frowned. I looked back him quickly. "w-what! No! I was the one who kissed you! I'm sorr-" I was cut off by Bill putting his finger on my lips. "Shh, I liked it" He smiled, I went red at his statement. "Are you saying you like me..." The question slipped out of my mouth. I was scared for his answer. "Dipper there is no way on this earth that I 'Like you' " Bill stated with a smile. That stabbed me right in the heart till he spoke up again. "I absolutely fucking love you! I can't get you out of my damn mind ever since I met you! And now I realized I wasted all this time hiding it just to find out you liked me back! Also I'm happy I got to take your first kiss" he winked, and sat up so he was sitting on my waist. "Ahh actually you took my first kiss while ago... and That's when I started lik- I mean loving you back... " I stated and sat up so we were face to face, Love was such a weird word to say. "Wait what..." Bill said totally shocked. "WHEN!?" Bill added in a shout, I looked down. "Jesus! At the party. You got drunk and well kinda grabbed my ass then kissed me and well I kissed back... But I remembered you were drunk so I pushed you back and ran. That's when my mom came to pick me up..." I answered and chuckled lightly. "I knew there was more to that story! Dipper I'm so sorry!" Bill panicked and hugged me tightly. I hugged him back and laughed. "I'm actually kinda happy you did that. Or else it would have taken me forever to see how I really felt about you." I smiled.

We sat in a peaceful silence. His weight had made my legs feel a bit mum, but I ignored it. "Oi, Dipper...?" Bill said in a sweet tone. "Yes?" I responded and looked at him. His eyes met mine again. "How about we connect to stars..." He out his hand on my chin and caressed it. "Together"
