*Third Person POV*

Eunji arrived at Yoongi's house around six pm, just minutes after their car has driven off. She runs off from the bush she was hiding from and crossed the street and walk to the front door. She knocked three times, her foot tapping on the floor impatiently.

But no one opened the door.

She paces back and forth, but after a few more seconds, she couldn't help but open the door herself. It wasn't locked, letting her know that someone was indeed still inside the house.

And that someone was Yoongi.

An orange flame welcomed her as she opened the door, but her eyes lingered at the boy who is sitting on the piano with a lighter on his hand where the flame is coming from. The room was dark, and only the candle is letting her see the face of someone she loves so dearly.

"Yoongi." she whispers as she runs to him, her arms automatically wrapping around him. She kneels down into the floor, right between Yoongi's legs. But then her knees felt cold as she kneeled down. Then she realized that there's liquid on the floor, and that's when her smelling senses came to her.

It's not just a liquid.

It is gasoline.

"Eunji, oh my god Eunji." He says, wrapping his arms around Eunji's head as he pushes her closer to him. He pulls back, cupping her face with his hands. "I missed you so much, I love you, I-"

"What is this?" Eunji touched the fluid from the ground with her fingers and put it close to her nose, sniffing the unpleasant smell. "What are you planning to do, Yoongi?"

He looks at her intently, paying attention to every single detail of her face. "My life is useless without you. I heard everything. I heard how your father forbid you to see me. My parents forbid me from seeing you as well. They took my phone, and did not let go to school even if I wanted to because they knew that you'll be there. And the other night..."

He pauses, looking away from her as he tilts his head to the side. Eunji takes his chin and tilts it back to the front. "What did you do? Did y-"

"They caught me with a blade, Eunji. They caught me trying to kill myself and when we talked to a psychiatrist today, they told him that... they don't even know me. They don't know their own son, their own blood and flesh." He explains in detail, the lighter still on his hands. "And now that they weren't here, I wanted to-"

Eunji's palm swung right into Yoongi's cheek, making her hand mark embark on it. "You promised me that you wouldn't kill yourself. You promised me!"

"I'm sorry," he whispers, slowly looking back at her. "But everything's done now and after the graduation, my parents are going to send me into a hospital. A hospital for crazy people."

"But you're not crazy." She hissed, the anger in her tone long gone. "Oh my god, that's... that can't happen. I-I..."

"I'm sorry for breaking my promise." He mumbles as his eyes kept on staring at the floor. "I didn't know what to do, and you weren't here. I was so lost that I thought you did not want to see me again."

"Are you stupid?" She hissed, hugging him again once more. "I love you so much that i'd rather spend miserable times with you than spend glorious times with someone else."

They stayed quiet for a minute. It was a perfect picture. A boy sitting on the chair of the piano bending down as a girl reaches for him to hug him from her knees. Until Yoongi spoke again.

"We have to pretend that we don't know each other anymore." He mumbles out of nowhere, making Eunji pull away from him in an instant.

"What are you talking about?"

"If I tell my parents that you're out of my life, that I don't like you anymore," he pauses, shaking sense into his mind. "Then they will let me go back to school, they will let me be free again and I can finally see you."

"No," she whispers softly at first then loudly, standing up from her knees. "Hearing that from you already hurt me, and the thought of you not-"

"It's all an act." He reaches for her. "It will just when they're around until they trust me again. Please understand."

Her expression calms down again. "Okay, but... what happens next? You obviously need to get out of here after graduation or else..."

"I know, I know..." He says. "But what if I really am the problem? If only I hadn't fallen in love with this stupid piano then maybe they won't hate me in the beginning." He hits the piano's keys with his palm, making an unpleasant ringing sound that echoed around the house.

Everything has happened so quickly. Yoongi took the lighter from the piano and pressed it down, then throwing it into the floor just under the piano. It took Eunji a minute to realize what was happening, but as soon as everything made sense to her, she instantly panicked.

"Oh my god!" She screams as she rans into the bath room. She fills the pale with water and paces back and forth as she waits for it to fill up. When it was all filled up, she rans back into the living room, the fire starting to get bigger and bigger.

She runs as fast as she can, with the heavy pale of water on her hands. The water then spills at the ground with every step she takes that when she reached the piano, it was only half full and that was all she splashed to the burning piano.

"What are you doing?!" She growls at Yoongi, frustrated and angry at the same time. Yoongi is just standing right next to the flames, watching his beloved musical instrument get burned into nothing but ashes. "Help me!"

But as she shouts at him, he finally recovers from his trance and quickly follows Eunji to the washroom to fill up more pales of water.

They didn't care about anything. What mattered the most to them is to not spread the fire anywhere else. With every minute that passes by, they dump a pale of water into the flames. With both of them splashing water into the fire, it had finally died down after minutes of continuous panting and panic as they ran across the living room into the bath room.

The fire's finally gone, and they patiently wait for the smoke to clear out.

But as it did, the piano wasn't there anymore.

Because what's left are just ashes and horrible memories.
