"Wait a second, who told him strawberry sundae's my favorite?" I asked Lucy, my voice laced with suspicion.
"Hey, it wasn't me." She said, her hands raised in surrender. I frowned. "Then who....?" I trailed off. "Oh no.. They didn't!" I said absent-mindedly. Lucy looked at me in confusion. "Who's 'they'?" I plopped down on the couch of my parents' living room. "The twins. I'm gonna kill 'em."

The other night
I was lying on my bed, with my system stalking some friends on Facebook which is a hobby I delight in so much. Sometimes Lucy joined me and trust me, its fun. Anyway, I was in the middle of replying a chat when my phone vibrated, signalling that I had a message. I picked up my phone and rolled over to lie on my back. I glanced at the message. Unknown number. Hmmm.

I opened the message. It read: Friday, 6pm. I'll pick you up.
I scoffed and rolled my eyes. I never told him I'd go. Such an arrogant nitwit. I replied: Duh..I never said I was coming

Unknown: You are. And oh I took permission from your mom already. She's such a sweet lady.

Me: you what??!! I'm not coming, you arrogant-

"Dani!!" I heard Mom call from downstairs. "Coming!!" I shouted back and picked up my self and my phone and went downstairs.

"You have a visitor dear, such a dear boy." I stiffened. Oh no. I hope not...
I walked into the living room, my back straight as a rod, my eyes narrowed to check if what I was thinking was true. It was confirmed when I saw Damian at the side of the sofa, standing with my mom, a tender smile on her face. I held back an eye roll. My phone vibrated in my hand. I glanced at the message.

Unknown: Told ya.
I glanced at Damian in time to see the smirk on his face before it melted into a wide smile directed at my mom.

Oh they've gotten chummy.

"Dear, your friend is such a nice dear boy. Do you know he's also good at cooking?" Mom asked, adoration her eyes. I almost choked on my spit. Wait, what?
"And he told me you both are going on a date Friday night, is that so?" I opened my mouth to reply but Damian beat me to it. "Of course ma'am. And I'm ordering a truck of strawberry sundaes, just for her." He said. My eyes almost popped out of their sockets. Strawberry Sundae?? Oh man! A whole truck? Hmm..maybe the date is not such a bad idea after all. "Oh, that's sweet, son." Mom replied. "Now, how about we bake those pies you told me about?" Mom walked to the kitchen, Damian following behind her. He winked at me before he disappeared into the kitchen. My mouth was agape at this point. I mean, I can't believe Damian and Mom are this chummy. I mean, what? He just made mom forget about asking me if it was true. My phone vibrated, snapping me out of my dazed state.

Unknown: Told ya...Again.

Later in the day

"So..which one of you told Damian that strawberry sundae's my favorite?" I paced in front of Ben and Jake, my arms clasped at my back, their uniform gazes following my movement.

"We didn't." They said in unison. I almost shuddered. That was creepy, the twin unity thing. I shook my head at them. "There's no other way he would have found out. Plus you guys are his best friends. Sufficient proof." They laughed and Jake said "Dani, trust me, we would never have told him 'cause we would want to see him suffer to get himself out of the mess he created." Ben nodded. "Besides we are not the only ones who know, are we?"
I shrugged. "Well, apart from you guys, Lucy and my parents, I don't think anyone else knows."
"So minus us and Lucy, that leaves your parents, and in my opinion, I'd say that's a dead end."
"On the contrary..." I said remembering. It was as if a light bulb had come on in my head. "You won't believe it, but Damian and my mum are chummy."
"Oooh." They chimed in unison. "Well, what do you know? I guess he's got his charms." I snickered. Charms, yeah right. "Well, we got our answer then." I chuckled and shook my head, not believing Damian would go to such lengths. "Well, see you guys later." I said and walked out the door.
