Hidden behind the counter, I reach up and pull down a hefty fire axe and stuff it inside the hiking pack I brought with me. Next was a small colt 45 pistol alongside 4 magazines of ammunition. The pistol was followed by a couple of flashlights and a length of rope. I snatched some food and drinks until my bag was full before creeping through the back door of the shop.
Sighing I stepped out into the harsh cold of American winter despite the raging fires, I started walking quickly to report back to Daniel of the message."STOP RIGHT THERE!" A gruff voice bellowed from behind me. I stopped in my tracks and peered over my shoulder catching a glimpse of the thing shouting at me. It was standing there, it couldn't have been taller than four foot but it's looks were still more intimidating than it's voice. "THAT'S MY STUFF YOU GOT THERE BUD AND I SUGGEST YOU GIVE THEM BACK". I fully turned and saw the dwarfish being, definitely no human or mutant. "Why should I?" I boldly responded.
"OH YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SAID THAT LITTLE MISSY. NOW I GOTTA HURT YA BUT DON'T WORRY I WON'T KILL YOU!" He laughed maniacally and started strutting towards me, I knew I'd done it this time so I turned and ran for life.A/N- sorry this chapter is so short, I'm kind of making this up as I go and I tend not to have much time as I choose the worst times to write. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter and what is this mysterious supplier...
