A rule is a rule. One must either follow or …
“…”
I stand at the edge of the rooftop. It has no railing whatsoever so having someone commits suicide seemed an occurrence in the environment. The wind flowing on my face is cold as the clouds cover the sky. It was about to rain.
“So this is where you are”
A voice from behind me made me turn around. He wore a lab coat, spilled with a brown substance. His glasses seemed like something from a cartoon for its largeness. An envelope in his hands as he flings it around. I gave him a faint smile as I walk to him.
“Busy again with feces huh, Rino?”
“Likewise Mr. Fenuir Grimgar” Rino grinned “since I am holding a piece of poop for you”
I laughed at his words, snatching the envelope in his hands. He walked to a nearby wall and leaned his back as he lit a cigarette and puffed two smokes before talking.
“Let me say congratulations on being accepted.” He still looked at the lighter in his hand. I had seen it many times now. It reeks of gas and has a sign of a wolf on it. Something not really can be sold here. “But now, prefer to me as Mr. Daltio”
“Thanks for that, Rino” from the words I spoke, he snarled but after a while he just made a loud sigh as I open the envelope only to find… literal samples of feces
“…”
I glared at the smoker beside me as I threw him the envelope, knowing that it is an intended joke. He writhes in pain as the glass covering of the sample hit his skull.
“Hey! That hurts!” He shouted
“I am sorry not sorry for that Mr. Daltio” I bid him a low bow with my right hand on my heart. He shuffled to his feet feeling the blow as he rubbed his head. That would stay for a while.
“Well played kid” He walked over as he reached in his cloak to only come out with a white letter. “Here. This is the real one”
I snatch it from him and opened the letter. It is a note where it congratulates me for being accepted at Viva Leira. College is not really a problem. Rather I am looking forward to it.
“What do you plan now” Rino asked
“…”
I stood there, feeling the wind gaze my face, as I smile. I opened my eyes without moving and faced the coated man, with his cigarette in his mouth.
“You know…” Rino walked near me while looking at the city. “When you were a child, I always knew something is special about you”
“Is that suppose to be sarcasm?” I raised an eyebrow
“Not really… Just confusion” He looked really serious for a while that made me tilt my head in confusion then he looked at me with his green eyes.
“Fen… Do you believe in fantasies?”
“Huh?”
That was a weird question from him. Normally, he would ask me things like girls and even something about feces. That’s why people call him Dr. Feces, (even though he has contributed to the college a lot by his research) yet he doesn’t mind. That question made me look at him with eyes, as if wondering who is he, which just made him shake his head then smiled at me.
“A piece of advice Grimgar. Don’t let the majority pull you”
