travis sang to sam, as they were both seated on the carpet again.

when travis was done, sam sat in front of him, his head lowered, looking at the ground.
when he looked up, travis could see a tear running down his freckled face.

travis put away the guitar to scoot closer to sam.

he held him in his arms, as he cried out all his sadness and anger.

and so did travis.
