Arthit Finally Left the Hospital. Christmas was Less Than One Week Away.
"Good morning, P'......Mr.....N'....P'...Arthit and Ma'am. I, I am your junior, too."
A stuttering man, who introduced himself as Aim, came to drive them home before his mom finished the discharge procedures from hospital.
"um.....My wife is also your.....Ah....Um.....I ca,came here on behalf of Kong......no.......he......He asked me to.....Aha....haaha."
The man, Kongpob who had visited Arthit every night and bothered him much didn't make it this time.
"Kong wouldn't have wanted to see you back to your parents' home."
He didn't stammer at all when he said so and left Arthit more puzzled. But Arthit just ignored his uneasy feeling.
Around Ten Days Before,
he was visited by the people called his coworkers. For Arthit, they were just some strange grown-ups he didn't know at all. Soon after they left, Arthit vomited up blood. His parents froze as they looked down their son's blood on the floor. Just in time, the man walked in the room, watched it all and immediately called out the doctor. According to his doctor, too much stress and tension seemed to aggravate his chronic gastritis.
That night, His parents and the man, Kongpob discussed something outside his patient room for quite a long time. And since then, Arthit had not had any further visits of strangers, including people from his university days. However, Arthit came to know that the man, Kongpob even stopped his high school friend, Jay from visiting him. He overheard his parents talking. His parents were very careful when they talked about his present things that possibly made Arthit stressed out. Everything had proceeded in accordance with Arthit's wishes since that day.
When his discharge from hospital was decided,
"Mom...I really want to stay with you........" Arthit pleaded with his mom by saying so.
"Kong....what do you think of it.....?" Mom asked the man then. Arthit sealed his mouth strongly in defiance to them.
"I don't care.", The man, Kongpob spoke very coldly and quietly.
"Let him do whatever he wants.", He didn't give a split- second glance at Arthit. Anyhow, consequently, Arthit was able to go back to his 'real' home with his mom today. Arthit didn't need to go back to the 'unknown' place where he used to live before the accident. Actually, He didn't want to know about where the place was and whether he had lived alone or not.

The Next Night After Being Discharged, drizzling outside.
Arthit sat up in the bed and glanced at the window above the bed. It was the only window facing outside in his room. He opened it and breathed in the fresh, earthy scent of drizzling rain in the air. He liked smelling not only something in nature such as rain, soil, and forest but also scents of his loved ones like his mom.
"Where are they going........?"
From the window, he observed passers-by carrying umbrellas hurry somewhere else. It was already late. They should be going back to their own homes.
"I am also at home....by the way...why can I not feel comfortable at all?"
He placed one bent arm on the window frame and leaned his head against it. Feeling raindrops falling on his face, He looked up at the moon and stars in the night sky.
