I am afraid my parents would get hurt by my being seventeen again.
I am afraid my future would be dark as I am not able to live on my own. Above all, I am afraid the man, Kongpob would suffer from my memory loss of him. No, it's a lie. I am most afraid he would escape from me if I couldn't return to 'the 30-year-old me' in the end.
He loves the 30-year-old Arthit not me. The more he gets to know the present me, The less he will like me.
He would be fed up with me soon because I am not so smart as the past Arthit, and because I am not so mature as him, Kongpob. I don't know why I am worried this much about his change of heart.
But.....I want to know more about the 30 year-old Arthit. I want to know more about us in the past. I want to know more about the man, Kongpob.
If I work as his maid, gardener, errand boy or something like that, can I stay with him without fear of being abandoned?
At least, even if he leaves me someday, it will mean I lose my job not him.
[In the diary of Arthit / before deciding to live with Kongpob]
Kongpob woke up Arthit to tie his necktie. "Is it also the butler's job, master Kong...?", asked Arthit, yawning and sitting up in bed. Kongpob knew well Arthit was not a morning person. He would just like to see Arthit before leaving for work. By the way, this 17 Arthit couldn't open his eyes at all, his head leaning against Kongpob's shoulder. Kongpob caught his Sun's scent permeating every inch of him. "Arthit, open your eyes. It's already six thirty in the morning.", Kongpob whispered against his hair, not wanting Arthit to open his eyes. "I am awake...", Arthit started tying Kongpob's necktie, his eyes half closed. "I prepared ahead for breakfast...", Arthit couldn't finish his sentence, burying his face in Kongpob's chest. Kongpob embraced Arthit gently, sliding one hand through his hair. Not until Arthit was completely awake did Kongpob release him from his hug.
To his surprise, breakfast was greater than expected. "I've helped my mom cook meals since I was 8. Everything she taught me is still alive in my head.", Arthit grinned at Kongpob with his hands by his sides. Arthit even shined his shoes, dusted off his suit jacket, carried Kongpob's bag to the car and saw him drive off.
Arthit was really serious about his job.
-------
A few days later
Kongpob was sitting at the desk, working on his unfinished work. He had brought his work home these days as he wanted to come back earlier.
"he...eh...? traveled to Korea and Japan? I've never seen snow!"
They were together in the study now.
"Arthit, did you take your medicine today....?"
Arthit nodded casually and ate potato chips, watching their albums in which Kongpob added notes to photos. While watching and reading their albums alone, 17-year-old Arthit giggled, suddenly rolled on the floor laughing, and laughed himself again to death. At one point he suddenly blushed, bent his head down to the floor, and murmured to himself, "What the hell....aren't they ashamed? Why did this Arthit let him do that?"
Kongpob managed to hold his laugh back, looking at a variety of Arthit's reactions to the photos. Actually he couldn't focus on his work, paying attention to this lovely Arthit, 17 years old.
"Arthit, did you buy what I asked you for this morning?", He flinched at Kongpob's words. Arthit shook his head, finally looking back at him.
"Mr. Arthit Rojnapat, What is your job?", Kongpob stood up from his chair with a serious look, his arms folded and walked close to Arthit sitting next to the book-shelf. "I don't think buying some gardening kits is a demanding job for my butler." Arthit nodded to Kongpob, scratching his nose awkwardly.
