SP_Rainbow After The Rain(End/Pt 2)

Two Months Later

The Shutthirak Rojnapat family went grocery shopping for tomorrow's family outing. They were going to an amusement park with their friends' families. Liam said this was his first time going to the amusement park. He was so excited.

They went to a bakery for desserts. Liam talked to the bakery owner, "I am going to the amusement park tomorrow." The owner gave him two more doughnuts for free. "I will go to the amusement park with my Daddy and Dad for the first time." He got a free milk from a cafe staff. The two grown-ups couldn't stop the boy. "My parents will take me to the amusement park. I can't wait for tomorrow." The fruit market owner gave him a free mango. "Have a good time, son," she said with a motherly smile.

"Sleep well for an exciting day tomorrow."

Liam got up a couple of times that night.

Early in the next morning, they left for the park. There were four families gathering together. Knott's and Aim's family joined the picnic. Bright came along with June and his niece April. April got along well with Liam this time, unlike last time. Liam took good care of the younger kids. He was so popular with Knott's two toddlers and Aim's daughter. 

They all had fun together; Riding the bumper cars, the merry-go-round, and the mini train. All the parents were busy taking pictures of their children. After the pony ride, they had a break. While the children were still romping on the grass, the grown-ups had drinks sitting at the shaded table. They were totally exhausted whereas the children still had so much energy. The only thing they could do was to wave at their children.

 And Bright broke the silence.  "We...are dating." He held June's hand.

"...Finally, you tell us," said Knott placing his hand on Bright's shoulder.

"We all knew it already. Congratulations." Arthit patted June's back.

"Isn't he too young for you, P'Bright?" Aim teased him.

"Did I say I saw you two holding hands at the mall the other day?" Kongpob joined the teasing game.

"Okay, Okay! shit, thank you!" Bright shyly buried his face in his hands. June burst into a laugh, burying his head in Bright's neck. June confessed, "...I love him more." 

They genuinely congratulated on the birth of a new couple, expecting them to end up marrying.

All the families had a late lunch then decided to ride the Ferris wheel as the last ride of the day.

The Shutthirak Rojnapat family got on the car of the Ferris wheel. It started moving up. Liam was sitting between Kongpob and Arthit. As the car went up higher, they could have a better view of the park. 

"Liam, did you have fun today?" asked Arthit.  

Liam nodded instead of answering, looking out the window.

"I am so proud of you taking good care of the younger kids," said Arthit, his eyes meeting Kongpob's.

"They need care...I like babysitting," muttered Liam, his eyes darkening. "... though I hated it before...." 

Kongpob kissed the top of Liam's head. When the Ferris wheel car finally took them up to the top,  they enjoyed the beautiful scenery outside the window for a while. 

Soon later, it was slowly going down.

"Liam," Kongpob talked, "We are going abroad next month."
