Dear P'Kong's Mom and Dad

I have a surprising news! I had met P'Kong before we met at university! Can you believe this? I don't know if you know I like pink milk. I first drank it one day at 17. A boy gave me that milk and an umbrella on a heavy rainy day. The boy was your son, my life savor! I could remember it thanks to P'Kong's boss, granny's former secretary once called Uncle Cherry!

[in Arthit's fifth letter]

Arthit completed a letter and put it in an envelope. He opened one of Kongpob's old albums which he finally found by searching every corner of the storage. It was full of pictures from his teenage years.

"He is definitely the boy I met at the mall......"

When Arthit suddenly recalled the name, Uncle Cherry, three days had already passed since he met him. Uncle Cherry naturally reminded Arthit of the boy who gave Arthit his umbrella and pink milk. He must have been Kongpob. "It was our destiny to meet again. it's like a movie or something....", Arthit whispered dreamily.

Thanks to these albums, he also found his treasure box which he used to keep under his bed in his 'real' teens. 'I think I've lost you as I couldn't find you at parents' house........', He stroked the box full of his memorable stuff. Much to his delight, in the box were also his university stuff including his EN59 gear necklace, a leather bracelet, diaries and love letters from Kongpob. He put the gear necklace next to his wedding ring in the drawers, but soon took them out again. "You guys should be together....right?", He untied the sliding knots of the necklace, put the ring on its leather cord, and tied the knots again. Now, the gear necklace was with the ring on it. He put it back in the drawers. He sat on the bed, reading one of the letters.

<P'Arthit, I once told you that I wanted you to write me a love letter. But today, I would like to be the one to start writing first.>

It was from the freshman, Kongpob.

<Every time we are near each other, do you know how much happiness it brings me?......No matter what changes, for me the only thing that is the most important is... P'Arthit.

You are my only sun. And I promise that it will always be like that forever.>

"This freshman makes me cry......."

Arthit recalled all Kongpob's doings for him. He had dominated Arthit's heart little by little since they met first in the hospital.

"Miss you.....", Arthit whispered.

Saturday

Kongpob sensed that Arthit had been acting weird these days.

Yesterday morning, it was heavily raining. "You should bring this with you.", Arthit picked up a particularly 'old' umbrella for him, laying aside good ones. "It's your destiny.", Arthit was so serious and lovely that Kongpob could see his cheeks rosy, his eyes sparkling. He willingly took the old umbrella to work but couldn't open it later. "It was broken, Arthit.", He said when he came back home at night. "I will have it repaired.", Arthit promised, wearing a shining smile. 'You don't need to.....', Kongpob couldn't speak it out.

This morning, "You have to put on some weight.", Arthit had him eat huge barbecued beef ribs for breakfast. "Who else eat the ribs early in the morning!", shouted Bright. "You! you have to be honored to eat my cooking, or you will......" Arthit gave him the "kill" gesture. After all, they finished all the beef ribs, which Arthit had cooked for hours, at 8 in the morning.
