Finally the girl's scroll showed some life. The beacon icon appearing against a black background. Ruby slammed her fingers into the dial pad dialing her elder sister. She then placed the scroll to her ear quickly and waited as the scroll rang. She kneeled holding Weiss against her impatiently. Ruby brushed hair from the heiress' face pleading with her once more. "Just hang on Weiss please ...You. You..are my best friend."
When the call she had made to her sister wasn't answer Ruby was finally starting to actually panic. She didn't want to have to do this alone, she couldn't do it alone.
So one more time Ruby dialed Yang's number into her scroll praying that she would finally answer while holding her partner close
to her. As it rang by her ear for this second time, Ruby felt warm tears form in her eyes. Though a few escaped Ruby wiped the rest of them quickly. She knew she must be strong in this situation. It was the only way she believed Weiss could try and do the same.
The white haired girls' eyes hazed, she struggled to stay awake. But she was, she wouldn't admit it but she was trying hard to stay awake for her partner. Pain throbbed throughout Weiss' body which made it difficult to hang on. And finally she just couldn't anymore. Weiss mouthed two words to her partner. She wasn't even sure of her vocal cords produced any type of sound. "I'm ...sorry..." with that she let her eyes closed and became unconscious.
Ruby let out a loud cry dropping her scroll just as Yang had answered "WEISS!"
