Ruby could only sit there squeezing her friend's hand tightly, she was overwhelmed with emotion. She had been told that Weiss was dead, she was gone, and she would never be coming back. But now here Weiss was, laying in a hospital bed, alive. Ruby blinked a few times as she held the other's hand in a tight embrace. "I-I'm so glad you are okay Weiss. I r-really thought I had lost you..." Ruby spoke in whisper continuing to hold the other girl's hand, though she knew the unconscious Weiss could not hear her words. The doctor watched Ruby, listening to the words of which she said to the other carefully, planning his time to cut in.

"Ahem.." He cleared his throat and crossed to the side of the hospital room of which Weiss and Ruby were stationed. Ruby looked up at him once he had made it there and he spoke again choosing his words carefully. "So.. I see her name is Weiss? Is there a last name to follow that?" Ruby nodded quickly.

"Yes, Schnee.... W-Weiss Schnee.." Ruby smiled with a faint blush on her cheeks, as she brushed a stranded of long white bangs out of the heiress' face. "That is her full name." Ruby nodded at the doctor looking up towards him for only a moment before staring back down at Weiss.

"Right. Very good, thank you." The doctor nodded, taking quick note of that in Weiss' chart, then looking back up again speaking once more. "So it seems to me, you don't only know.. Miss Schnee, but you seem to be rather close with the heiress, is that correct?" Ruby looked up from the pale face of the heiress, and responded with a quick simple nod, before she finally spoke up.

"Yes.. we are very close actually.. we are on a team together at Beacon." Ruby added with a large smile as she looked back down to the heiress messing with Weiss' hair more. The doctor watched her somewhat awkwardly. He was not one to judge a patient's relationship, but he could never bring himself to avoid this feeling . Especially, when his patient, or who was accompanying his patient for that matter, became openly affectionate.

"Weiss should be waking up very soon." He stated as he continued to glance over at the two now known to him as 'huntress's in training'. As a way of a quick escape, and the matter of good timing, the doctor found it appropriate to say one of his most famous lines with a small nod. "I'll leave you two alone." He nodded at the two one final time and exited the room.

A/N: I've been getting quite a lot of good feedback from you guys, and I really appreciate it. Hearing that you all love this story really motivates me to publish more frequently. Additionally, I spoke to another writer friend recently, who gave me a piece of constructive criticism. They said my parts are rather short so I should publish frequently anyway. Which I one hundred percent agree with, and I promise to try to stick to it. You guys are really amazing and your support means everything to me. I really hope you enjoyed this part and expect the next one to be up by August 5th. I love you all!
