Ruby stared back at the nurse with worry very clear in her stare. "W-what do you mean..,by that ...s-she is alive isn't she.!?" In the back of her mind it was obvious what the nurse's 'bad news was, but the main portion of Ruby's mind just refused to believe it was true.
"I am...truly sorry Miss Rose, but Miss Schnee did not make it through surgery."
After saying those words the nurse left the room this breaking of the news stung her in a way that she never expected to. The nurse took a long deep sigh, as she sat in a chair that was positioned well away from Ruby's room. But her distance didn't seem to help much as Ruby's loud wales could be heard along the whole hallway.
"WEISSSSSSSSSS!" Ruby fell on to the bed as the tears welled up in her eyes. This just could not be real...there had to be a mistake. But doctors don't make mistakes..or do they?
The gurney that held the girl with the white hair was wheeled into recovery. Right next to the girl was waling about the loss of a friend. They would have moved her, but it was the only available placement for her. Some of the doctors winced as the girl yelled and screamed. She must have really cared for her friend.
They looked towards the young one that laid unconscious on the bed in front of them maybe this girl, and the other could become friends. Maybe that was all the waling girl needed, a new friend.
