Knowing that Weiss had been breathing with a descent pulse gave the young huntress some confidence. That she had time... at least some time. She could do this alone..right? Questions upon questions of self doubt flooded Ruby's mind as she realized something heartbreaking. Checking her scroll one more time, she hoped for a signal. But nothing, it suddenly all hit her at once. She is going to have to do this alone. Without anyone to guide her. Without anyone to stay by her side and offer support. She had no big sister to lean on and her partner. Well she would be gone if Ruby didn't get it together to actually get up and do something. Her legs just felt like weights as worry and realization set in. Ruby could not stand. Let alone run to get help. Alone, Ruby was alone, in the middle of who knows where with her partner. One who she loved who may not ever be able to know how Ruby feels. One who might never see the light of day again, if Ruby could not do this. If Ruby cannot do this alone nothing is going to change. Nothing will be fixed, unless- Ruby's thought was interrupted by a certain feeling. Or actually a lack of feeling. The heiress who laid limp in her lap, Ruby could no longer feel her breathing. Ruby had absolutely no time as this point. It was go time.
