The Heiress awkwardly hugged Ruby back for a moment before she was again the first to pull away. "Ruby I really just don't think it's a good Idea .. my father he-.. well he's" Weiss again found herself struggling to find the right words.

"Nonsense Weiss, your father can't be that awful that he wouldn't even give me a chance." Ruby smiles wide as she eagerly expresses it to her nonofficial girlfriend. Ruby was really serious about this and she would do anything to make it happen. "C'mon Weiss just take me to meet him."

Figuring that there would be no way of talking Ruby out of it Weiss finally gave in. "Alright Ruby.. I suppose it cannot hurt to try." Weiss sighed. "But I must warn you whatever happens in this meeting may not be for the best. My father might seclude me from you, and the rest of the girls. He may even make me study at Atlas next term." Weiss was very serious in this warning.

Ruby nodded rather serious in her composure for a moment. "Weiss.. I'm willing to take that risk. I've held this in for so many years and now that its out I'm not going to give up on it ." She went in for another tight hug before Weiss could protest. Ruby held her rather tightly this time giving the older yet still smaller girl no chance of pulling way too quickly. She leaned in close her mouth centimeters from the other's ear "I love you Weiss and I'm willing to do anything for us to be together."

These words struck a very emotional place in Weiss' heart. A small tear fell and she let the other hold her for the next few moments. "Alright Ruby.. I have faith in you.. I have faith in us."

Later that night there was a soft knock and then the door opened revealing a nurse. She walked in to a rather quiet room as Ruby had fallen asleep on Weiss' lap and the heiress was sitting up in her bed reading. Looking the situation over the nurse apologized. "Truly sorry Miss Schnee, I just came to inform you that you will be discharged tomorrow morning. I was wondering if you had plans for traveling home. or would it be best for me to phone someone to come retrieve you? Perhaps your father?" The nurse looked at the two girls trying to hide her judgement.

Weiss looked up placing her book on the nightstand and nodding. "Its quite alright Miss, thank you for the offer but I will take care of my transportation plans. Thank you. "

The nurse nodded. "Well alright then. Goodnight Miss Schnee." She nodded once more before she exited the room.

Weiss sighed and looked down to the sleeping girl on her lap. "I wonder if Winter would be understanding of this situation." Weiss thought of her elder sister as a possible option for their transportation arrangements. But as soon as the thought arose she quickly began to have doubts. However, she still looked at the clock to realize it wasn't that late in Atlas. "I suppose it cannot hurt to call." Weiss pulled out her scroll and searched until she came across Winter's phone number.
