Sometimes..You Say "I hate you" Only to Cover Up Your Real Feelings.

A Mistake? Or More?

After what felt like only a few brief moments to her partner the heiress pulled pack. "I'm..sorry Ruby.. but we cannot do this." She sighed and watched as her partner gave her a look of confusion and a very apparent frown.

"Oh.. um I am sorry Weiss did I uh.. misunderstand you?" Ruby questioned her,  and immediately blushed a darker head then the cloak she had be given by her mother. 'Stupid Ruby! Why did you kiss her what did you do?!'  Ruby found herself scolding in her head once more. However to her own surprise, the reason she had figured was far from what the heiress was thinking,

Weiss started at the short timid girl with serious express on her face. "No Ruby.. you haven't misunderstood." She sighed. "The reason we cannot do this is because of what others will think of us together."

Relived it isn't completely herself at fault Ruby cuts in, taking the heiress' hands in her own holding them gently. "I don't care what everyone thinks Weiss! I love you and I just can't keep it hidden up inside any longer." Feeling eager to prove this fact, Ruby went in for another quick kiss but this time, Weiss moved away before their lips even touched briefly.

"Just stop and listen to me for a moment Ruby." Weiss stared a stern stare into her partner eyes who seemed to be very interested in her features rather then her words. "Can you please do that for me." Ruby stopped staring and nodded, finally devoting her ears as well as her eyes to the heiress. 

"Ruby.. we cannot do this because of my family." Her explanation was brief at first but a look of confusion from Ruby encouraged her to elaborate on it. "If my father were to find out I was in a relationship with another female. He would most certainly take away my role as heir, and quite possibly disown me all together. " Weiss anxiously waited for how her partner would reply to her situation.

"Oh." Ruby's response was rather simple word wise and in general. It was almost like that of a younger teenager. "So.. you do want love me too .. but you just cannot due to what your family. More specifically .. your father's opinion on us in a relationship?"

"Well ah, ....yes I suppose that is it." Weiss answered her with a simple nod. Ruby crossed her arms at this and exclaimed rather casually.

"Well that is just plain stupid!  You are Weiss Schnee! You are your own woman and you should love who you want to. No matter if they are male or female! You should love who you wanna love and your father should not get in there way of that!" Ruby's voice had raised a rather large amount.

"Shh! My goodness Ruby you don't have to be so loud."  Weiss shushed her partner afraid of a doctor or nurse over hearing them.

"Sorry Weiss but it really isn't that logical don't you think. I mean I'm Ruby rose what's not to like about me?!" Ruby smiled wide. "How about this, after you get out of here you take me to meet him!?" Ruby stated eagerly in a tone that made it hard for Weiss to counter.

"Well Ruby.. uh.." Since Weiss couldn't exactly come up with a reason not to right then and there it seemed to be settled.

"So it's settled then!" Ruby smiled and gave Weiss a tight hug without giving her any time to protest. "I can't wait to meet him Weiss!"

A/N: Wow would you look at that. I actually got a part published this weekend. Yes it is short and yes it is 9:18 PM Saturday night, but I did it! And I really hope you guys enjoyed it. Ill try to get the next one published around the same time next week. (Keyword- try).
