A/N#1: Okay first off, sorry that this is a few days late. I have had family here all week, and not much time to write, as we have been doing a lot of things. Also, I still plan to still publish weekly, but I do start school again this coming week, so I guess just a heads up. But anyway, enough of that, I will let you get into the story.

The visibly flustered huntress sank more into her seat, the suspense of Weiss' response was only making things worse. What if she ruined things? What if their friendship was now over? So many different 'what if'  thoughts flooded Ruby's mind as she stared silently at the heiress. A dark red blush decorating . Why wasn't Weiss saying anything? The silence of the room, was becoming unbearable for Ruby.  Something had to be said, and fast, if not, there was a very high chance that Ruby could loose control of her own sanity.Weiss stared at Ruby studying her carefully, and Ruby looked back at her, with desperate anticipation. Ruby was now all ears, desperately awaiting the time of Weiss' response.

"I-l'm sorry Ruby.. I am still rather exhausted." Weiss finally spoke, and the words that she stared were to the great surprise of the younger huntress. "I have not been paying much attention to what you have said, since I have woken up. So to answer your question, I have not heard much of anything clearly, until just now." Weiss was still somewhat discombobulated, but in reality, she had actually heard all of Ruby's words, since her awakening. However, she had decided to keep it to herself, for now at least, she would bring that fact up at another time. For now, the white huntress would act as oblivious as she could about what she had heard of Ruby's words during Weiss' unknown newly conscious sate

"O-oh! S-so you didn't hear anything I said before just now?!" Ruby looked at Weiss, feeling a small piece of the weight on her shoulders lift, and her dark blush begin to fade slightly. Her secret was safe, Weiss had not heard her so openly announce her feelings,  there friendship would not be lost, and most importantly Weiss was okay! Everything was perfectly fine now. Right? Ruby was still quite unsure.

Weiss simply shook her head with a small sigh. "I heard it Ruby. I just didn't really process it fully, would you mind repeating it?" Weiss did her best to act oblivious, and hold back the fact that her feelings for Ruby were the same. Additionally, Weiss wondered how Ruby would explain herself, thinking that her words had not been heard by Weiss.

Finally feeling relief, Ruby nodded quickly at Weiss. "Y-yes! Of course ...I can do that Weiss!..." Ruby quickly thought of a believable half lie. "I was uhh... just bored while waiting for you to wake up and uhh, I was just talking to myself." Ruby gave her thoughts a nod of approval, and looked at Weiss, hopeful that Weiss would believe her statement, without any further questioning.

Weiss smiled slightly at Ruby's response, having predicted that would be, how Ruby would describe the event.  The heiress simply nodded at Ruby, and spoke up once more. "Well alright then Ruby.. whatever you say." Weiss replied, putting her slight attitude tone, back into her voice.  This response from the heiress made Ruby feel even more relieved, everything seemed normal. She hadn't screwed things up...not yet at least.

With her newly found confidence Ruby decided to initiate another conversation to break the silence. "So uhh.. Weiss?" She scratched the back of her head subconsciously as she spoke. "How exactly did..you know..this happen?" Weiss watched as Ruby's gaze traveled to her abdomen, and the newly stitched up gash that decorated it. Weiss looked at Ruby and responded with a sigh.

"Its..a rather long story Ruby.." Weiss expression, quickly changed to a serious one, and she let out a long sigh. "But I suppose I will have to tell you sooner or later."

A/N # 2: Hope you enjoyed this part! Personally, I am not the most proud of the way some things came out, but I really wanted to get this up for you guys.                                                                       Again, sorry for it being a little late, I am really trying to keep up with a schedule.  And also sorry about the cliff  hangers, but the next chapter will most likely involve some flashbacks narrated by Weiss, so I guess look forward to that. Bye for now!
