A fan or something of the sort was blowing all over her. It made her skin feel cold and clammy. She was in a very deep sleep until just a moment ago, when she rose to the surface of a warm and comfprtable ocean in her head. She was slowly waking up. Slowly, she became aware of how cold and empty the space she was in felt. Had she forgotten to turn on the heater when she got back? That's odd. She hated the cold with a hatred so hot it could warm whatever cold room she was shivering in. Murmuring, she opted to sit up.
And then the headache smacked her so hard she nearly fell over. "What the hell?!" she gasped, grabbing her head. A hangover. She felt terrible, like a strange mix between a slug and a human. She sat there for a long time, just growling in an attempt to ward off the headache. "Go away, you ridiculous headache..." she hissed behind clenched teeth. This wouldn't do. she threw her head back to look at the ceiling, and came to a startling realization.
That ceiling was not her ceiling.

Her everything crashed into a screeching halt. She couldn't even feel her heartbeat. She looked around her fervently, searching for anything that would convince her that she was not in a stranger's apartment. The only thing that was hers in this space was her body. Her near-naked body.
Why was she half naked?!
She turned her head sharply to her left, and there lay the probable owner of this place. His hair was a strange, bright red. The kind of red that reflected bits of orange and yellow. It was very messy, and fell onto his face. His mouth was open, and he was breathing heavily. But what caught all her attention, were the marks on his body.
Scratches.
Bites.
Hickeys.
Needless to say, she was out of that bed in an instant. Although she struggled to stand up, her legs lacking in strength, she pulled through with sheer panic and force, throwing on her tight, maroon dress and fumbling with her pumps. She stumbled to the door, but didn't wrench it open just yet. Something caught her eye. The only source of light in the dark room were several screens, their contents varying. But she was smart enough to know that those were codes blinking on them. Like in the movies, bright green nonsense blinking on dark black screens. There were also several CCTV screens watching a certain building. There was the front of the building, the side, the entrance, the corridor, the stairs, the elevator, and the entrance to an apartment.  A cold hand ran down her spine.
She got entangled with the worst possible person in her life.
A hacker.

Ho ho ho.
Short but enough I hope.

Enjoy.
