Light and Dark's War Days

Episode 2, "Scout and Report"

It was 9PM.. At the gates of Mortemia, Chris and John were trying to find a place to scout, They only have limited resources. A Binocular and also, Some water cans.

They climbed the hill without noticing the Guards at the front gate.

"You sure this is a good idea, Chris?" John said as he looked a little worried while climbing up the hill.

"We have to find out what is she up to. You'll never know when she might be start a war." Chris said as he finally climbed to the top.

John sighed and finally reached to the top as well. "Oh well..."

Once they go prone, Chris started to look at the Mortemia's defenses by looking through the Binocular.
"Hmmm.... Mortemia's Defenses has Crossbows, Cannons.." Chris said while looking through the Binocular.

"Archers and Knights." John continued Chris's words.

After John continued, Chris saw Morgana.
"Whoa, It's her. Check it out." Chris handed the Binocular to John.

"Hm?" John holded it and looked through it. Oh yeah, It's her. And, She looks excited..."
John raised his eyebrow.

"She's going to have a plan to destroy Arcana." He started to think.
"Any soldiers near her?"

John looked around her location, Many of her troops were training.
"Tons of it."

Chris seemed to be worried a little.
"She does have a plan. We should get back and tell the King about all of this." He dranked the water can and went downhill.

"Wait for me!" He hangs his Binocular on his neck.

Once they get back down, They ran as fast as they can to the Throne's Room.

10PM... At the Throne's Room.

King Harkinan was waiting for them. Once they arrived, He stood up.
"You two, Report!"

Chris and John panted and took some deep breaths.
"Morgana's plan is to destroy this kingdom. Her soldiers are training right now."
Chris said as he wiped his sweats off from his face.

The King shocked.
"I fear this may happen... We need to preapre our troops tomorrow morning. For now, You two should get to sleep. It's getting late."
The King went to them. "Thank you." He said with a little smile.

Chris and John nodded and stood up, walking to the Barracks. After John left the Throne Room...

"Oh, And Chris?"

Chris stopped just before he left.
"What is it?
He turned back to him.

"Thanks for remembering me about it."
Harkinan said as he looked at Chris.

"You're welcome. Rest well, King Harkinan."
He said as he left the Throne Room.

"You too, Chris."
Harkinan went to his Bedroom.
