Light and Dark's War Days

Episode 23, "Stormy Thunders and the Monster."

In the last episode, The Heroes finished their mission on the Cold Icylands. This time, they are on their way to find the Thunder Gem. Will they defeat the Monster that's guarding the Gem and acquire it? Let's find out.

It was raining at the Inn due to close from the Stormy Thunders. Or it was called, Thunderlands. A hard rain with loads of thunderstrikes happend on the Thunderlands. The Heroes seemed to slept well. Except for Tom. He didn't sleep well. Kassie woke up earlier than the others. She was used to being as a Knight in Mortemia. Waking up early in the morning, guarding the Throne. And also, doing some of her... Private stuff.

When Kassie saw Tom, she went to him and patted his shoulder.

"Tom.. Are you okay?"

Kassie said, while Tom looked at her with a disapointed face. He sighed.

"I can't go to sleep.. Those Thunderstrikes caused it.."

Tom said. He didn't sleep well due to the Thunderstrikes. With that, his stamina went bad. So, he'll expect a good sleep after passing the Thunderlands.

And that, as usual.. Aruna appeared. She smiled as she appeared. Everyone except Tom stood up. Tom was still tired.

"Good Morning, everyone-"

Aruna's words were cutted by Tom's condition. She gasped. And went to him. Everyone else looked at him.

"Tom.. Are you okay?"

Aruna said, rubbing Tom's chin with her left hand. Tom yawned and looked at her softly.

"I didn't sleep.. Those Thunderstrikes caused it.."

Tom said while rubbing his eyes. He was still tired from not asleep. Although, Tom's a Thunder Knight. But, he couldn't handle the Thunderstrikes at it. Aruna nodded softly. Astrea sighed, cheering Tom up.

"Come on, Tom. This place is where we can find the Thunder Gem! If we can find it, we're going to be the Chosen ones!"

Astrea said. He was somehow getting energetic. X, Kassie and Chris nodded. Tom was still tired.

"My apologies... I can't lead you to there. I'll have to rest..."

Tom said, laying down on the bed. Aruna started to think of a plan to find their way to get the Thunder Gem. In Thunderlands, finding the Monster is pretty hard. It wouldn't be that easy if someone like Tom can guide them throughout the Thunderlands. And so, Aruna had an idea.

"I have an idea. I'll let Tom rest up on my place. While that, i can read Tom's mind to lead the way. I'll have to use Telekinesis to do that."

Aruna said, telling her idea how to lead them to the Thunder Gem throughout the Thunderlands. Although, they didn't understand the word, "Telekinesis".

"Uhm.. What does Telekinesis means?"

Kassie said. All of the Heroes were confused.

"You can talk to someone through your mind. Or, it's called Mindtalk. It's a Tier 2 Spell that's actually pretty easy to obtain."

Aruna said, explaining about Telekinesis. They seemed to be understand that Aruna's a Spell User. And so, the plan was finally setted up. While the Heroes are on their way to the Thunderlands, Tom was resting up in Aruna's place while she was using Telekinesis. It would seemed to be pretty easy to use. But, the weakness on it is the range. Telekinesis can't be used on someone if the target is really far from user.

While arriving at the Thunderlands, the Heroes felt hard and strong gusts of storms. Many tornadoes were spinning around like as if the place was an Arena for Spinning Tops. If someone gets close to it, it'll pull you in. And may be thrown away to a different place of the Area.
