"No! What happened? Who did this to you?"

"Oh god no."

"Please! Please stay with me! Don't leave me yet!"

"Princess....... it's too late for him. Don't torture yourself like this. Leave the body here."

"Don't you dare touch me! His death is your fault too! You were always with that murderous psychopath! If you had done something-"

"What?! What could I do?! I tried! I tried so many times! He wouldn't hear a word of it!"

"....................... Then you can add my blood to both of your hands."

"What are you doing? Wait a minute! Put down the dagger."

"I'm sorry...."

"Nooooooo!"

Cain Dragvern - POV;

"It's just as I had thought," Sirath commented gravely.

"What is it Sirath?" I asked impatiently.

"This emblem belongs to the Draconians," she replied.

"Who are the Draconians?" Amelia inquired.

"About a thousand years ago there was a race of humans whom came and lived in Drakhurith. The humans had hidden in the most obscure places but most had settled near to Ground Z. Ground Z was merely a nickname for the forbidden area where the Anticuus would unleash their powerful magic for a multitude of reasons. The humans were in constant exposure of the radiation from the Anticuus's work and over time they were genetically modified into powerful super-beings superior to their original forms in every way; speed, strength, intelligence, agility and coordination. A couple of centuries ago, these humans had gained a devastating power and used it to wreck havoc upon the Draconic races. By some means, a powerful tool which they had called 'Soul Chains' was injected into the few most compatible members of their clan. These Soul Chains allowed the user to bind the soul of their victim to their own. Using it, they had enslaved a number of the Draconic beasts, even some of the most powerful to have ever walked. There apparent dominion over us beasts had led to them adopting the name Draconian. They had intended to turn our own people against us but they had not accounted for one thing: The Draconians were unable to control the bound beasts against their will and as a result, the tides of this war immediately backfired and the Draconians were wiped out by the Draconic Beasts. If what you say is true Cain, and if the person who attacked you really did bear this emblem, then maybe we hadn't killed off all the Draconians like we had initially thought," Sirath explained.

"Wait. So the Draconians' power allowed them to bind others souls to themselves? Isn't that kind of like Soterios and Durnehviir?" I questioned.

"In a way, yes. When I first met you all in the Cave of Souls atop Alyenqua, I had thought myself that the similarities were intriguing. In fact, I even discussed this with Durnehviir but he was convinced that an entirely different mechanism was at play," Sirath replied.

"So if this really is a Draconian, why did they attack the Parliament? They are supposed to be enemies of the Draconics right?" I continued my questions.

"They are. That's the thing that confuses me as well. I don't know why a Draconian would leave Drakhurith and come to Uradora to cause trouble," Sirath admitted.
