Qostros is one of the four main continents on Nabrunia. It lies due east of Uradora and Drakhurith.
The massive landmass is home to a number of different species. The Humans lived in settlements, villages and cities established around the plains and flatlands primarily. The many evergreen and oak magic forests served as the abode for the elusive Fairies. At the centre of the continent rose the most formidable mountain range which passed even the clouds in height as they pierced the heavens. Atop these giant hills lay the home of the Eastern Dragons.
Nabrunia's history was very much unlike Uradora's. Infact, none of the continents had ever interacted with each other until the war between Drakhurith and Uradora. Isolated from the foreign matters, it brought little effect to the land. Nabrunia had seen peace for the past few centuries. Hence there was never the need for the division of the people and the rise of ruling kingdoms. Despite being more distrubuted to their own respected areas, it was not uncommon to see the races living with each other.
The Qostrian Humans held great respect for the Dragons due to their Eastern type culture, religion and beliefs. The Eastern Dragons repaid this as well and coexisted with the other races of Qostros. Even the shy Fairies would occasionally show their faces.
No system exists without its fair shares of flaws however. Illicit relations between two different races were viewed as a high form of blasphemy and any resulting child born of this sin was considered an abomination. This was a rare occurrence though as the perpertrators were usually brutally tortured and killed by their own fellow men.
One main kingdom served as the ruler for the entire continent. This was Qaezia. Qaezia was the home of the Qostrian Royalty who created the laws of the land and held the utmost power. Despite this, many of the villages and towns which were quite distanced from them recieved very little aid and were generally overlooked.
With the poor leadership and general lifestyle of most of the inhabitants, it was a wonder that Qostros maintained its peace, but one could assume that this is only expected when the people lived such simple lives.
