Kendra's POV

The next morning I am walking inside the Kinsley products building next to Celeste.

It was a long night of crying and drinking from the cheap bottle of wine Celeste bought to celebrate for this new job. We didn't do a lot of explaining why we were crying, but we there was a lot of tears.

I walk over to Veronica who is talking to a very beautiful girl who has long, curly black hair. She has a killer body, the one where you look at her and ask why you can't even do five push ups.

"Thank you." The girl said to Veronica and walked over to one of the elevators.

Once Veronica saw us standing there, a grin breaks out on her face, "Kendra! It feels like awhile since I saw you, but it was really like two days."

I laughed and hugged her quickly, "I hope you don't mind I bring my friend with us out for lunch later."

She looked behind me where Celeste stood and smiled softly at her, "Of course. I'm Veronica." She said and held her hand out for Celeste who choose to dress less revealing today after the incident with Daniel.

Celeste returned the smile and shook her hand, "Celeste." She said.

"Well, I would love to show you around and show you how to do your job, but unfortunately I have to work so Eric asked one of his former assistants that didn't actually end on a bad note."

"I am guessing he doesn't have a good reputation with assistants?" I hear Celeste ask.

Veronica nodded and shrugged her shoulders, "You should probably get used to it since you will be working for him."

"Oh, I know Veronica, just don't remind me."

She laughs and points us toward the elevator, "Third floor. Her name is Hannah and she is super nice so you have nothing to worry about."

I widened my eyes, "And you're telling she ended her job as Eric's assistant on a good note?!"

She chuckled and pointed to the elevator, "Go see for yourself."

I sighed and walked with Celeste over to the crowded elevators. We were only going to the third floor, but each floor brought in just as many people as people were leaving. It was a crowded longer ride up to the third floor. Now I know why Eric made sure he had his own elevator.

As soon as the third floor came Celeste and I squeezed through the people in the front to far tour of that air tight he'll hole.
