Chapter 4~The Meeting

James' POV
I reached the bar and bolted to the door."Aren't you forgetting something"I heard a voice behind me.I turned around it was my mom and Johnny behind the bar.

I smirked "See you later"I said as I leaned over the bar and kissed my mother's cheek."Thank you"she replied "Who are you meeting anyway"mum asked."Just a mate from school" I lied."Which one?"."Cian alright I'm meeting Cian so stop with the questions I'm already five minutes late,See ya later"I said as I bolted out the door on to the square.

Lee's POV
"What's his problem"I said as I saw James bolt out the door."Oh nothing he's just going out to meet,Cian"mom replied.

"Yeah I'm sure that's who he's meeting"smirked Johnny.I laughed."Leave him alone,anyway I'm opening".Mum opened the doors and we began to serve.

James' POV
I raced through the market, accidentally banging off Kush as I passed causing him to drop a pile of posters with prices on them.

"Sorry mate" I said while helping him pick them up"I'm just in such a rush I'm meeting the girlfriend y'know how it is"I said not thinking.

"Oh,a girlfriend,quick go Prince Charming before Cinderella rips your head off for being late"he smiled."Thanks Kush and sorry again"I said as I walked backwards through the market."No problem,mate"He winked."Have a great time".

As I ran,I looked at my watch 3:10."No I'm already 10 minutes late".I reached the park gate there she was the person I could talk to,trust,have a laugh with.

She was wearing denim skinny jeans with a rip at the knees,a black top with a green bomber jacket on top and a pair of white converse.Her dirty blonde hair was to the side.

I opened the gate and walked closer her.She turned around and looked at me with her ocean blue eyes."Ella,I'm so sorry I'm late,first I was supposed to have a shift now but then Whitney said she'd cover,then mom started asking questions just as I was about to leave and then I banged into Kush and...".

I was about to apologise but then she kissed me only for about 3seconds but it was amazing.

"What was that for?"I asked."What"she said "a girl can't kiss her boyfriend"."of course not"I said"but you never..I don't know".

She looked at the ground,I could tell something was up."Did I say something?"I inquired with confusion.

"No,it's just I'm living in a 4 bedroom house,Kyle has his room,Belinda has hers,Mum and Martin is with Arthur,so I'm in a room with Lily and Bex.Its just it gets so annoying having barely any privacy".

"It will get better,I promise like one day soon you'll have a whole room to yourself eh and it'll have a lock on the door so you can have privacy whenever you want "I said trying to cheer her up.

"Anyway my house only has 5 bedrooms so Aunt Babe,Johnny and me get one each.Whitney and Lee have one and my mom,dad and Ollie have one,so if Nancy did comeback I'd probably have to bunk on the couch.I mean when Tina,Shirley Nance and Grandad were all living under our roof as well,me,Lee and Nance were sleeping in the living room.Try to get some privacy then".

"Thanks James" she chuckled "You always know how to cheer me up".We just talked about friends and news after that.

"I told my mom I was with Cian".Ella laughed "I told mine I was meeting Amber(her best mate)."But I texted her to say if my mom ever asked she was with me today".

"Oh I better text Cian the same thing"I said pulling out my phone"No,I completely forgot I was so wrapped up in conversation I didn't realise it was 4:30 I'm half an hour late"I said.

"For what?"Ella said."My shift Whit said she'd cover til 4".

"Go,then"Ella smiled."You sure"."Honest"she replied."I'm so sorry babe I'll meet you tonight,at 6,in the middle of the square" I said,kissing her on the cheek."Go" she laughed.

"6"I said as I ran off "be there"I winked and she smiled and laughed."Wow I really love her" I said to myself.
