Chapter 9~The Reception

At the reception
Whitney's POV
"It's done"I thought."I have finally married the man I love".We didn't have enough money for a honeymoon and are reception was in the Vic but to me it was perfect.We had a three course meal and listened to all of the speeches so all there was left to do was to enjoy the rest of the reception.

Lee and I had are first dance and spent about an hour on the dance floor afterwards."I'm just going to the loo"Lee said."Ok I'm just going to see how Tiffany and Morgan are"I replied.

I walked over to the bar and saw the table in the corner,sitting at it was Bobby,James,Tiff, Cian and Griffin.I decided to earwig for a minute or two.

"Griffin,Truth or dare"asked Cian. "Truth"."Ok,have you ever stolen money from your mum without permission".

"Obviously"Griffin replied."How much"Tiffany said."30quid,the other day to get a New Arsenal jersey but I told her I used my pocket money"Griffin answered.

Tiffany then said "I stole 50 pound from my nan a year ago just to go shopping"."That doesn't surprise me"Bobby said rudely.

"What did you just say"Griffin asked Bobby angrily."Woah,let's just calm down "Cian said.

"Alright"Bobby said"Tiffany,have you ever French kissed someone for more then 10 seconds"."Yeah of course"Tiffany replied."Ew who would even think of kissing you"Bobby laughed.

James glared at him."Problem"Bobby smirked.James laughed "Nope,just I hear this annoying little weak fly attempted to be a div to an amazing girl".Tiffany shyly smiled and blushed.

"Nah I'm not weak because I'm not the one who got raped by my own brother in-law"Bobby said spitefully referring to Linda.

James stood up in a fit of anger and Bobby soon did the same."What did you just say"James said in a low,fierce tone.Bobby repeated what he had said just quiet enough so no one could hear.

Suddenly,James grabbed hold of Bobby pushed him on the ground and started battering him.

Bobby managed to get a few hits on James but soon enough James was back on top when Mick and Kush pulled him off Bobby.

Ian and Jane ran to Bobby."Go on"James shouted "Say it again,so everyone can hear"

"What I didn't say anything"Bobby lied. "Liar" James shouted."James,calm down"Mick said.

"Tell them or I will"Griffin said grabbing Bobby's collar about to hit him but Jack Branning his step-dad held him back.

"They are ganging up on him"Ian said to us."No we're not"James and Griffin replied.

I looked at Tiffany excepting her to help Griffin and James out but she just sat there alongside Cian who then stood up and said "James and Grif are telling the truth,Bobby said something about Linda and if I was James I would have done the same".

"Oh three against one now is it" Ian said.Mick then spoke "Alright,this is a wedding reception not a WWE ring,ok so Tiffany your going to tell us all what really happened".Everyone stared at Tiffany.

"Come on,Tiffany"I said "We don't have all day"."We were playing Truth or Dare and Bobby asked me a question and then James and Griffin just went for him,Bobby didn't say anything about Linda,Cian made it all up"Tiffany said quietly.

'Why is she lying'I thought to myself."Right you upstairs now" Linda said to James."You too Griffin"Ronnie said."Cian you as well"Honey said they all marched upstairs Mick,Jack and Billy followed them.

Bobby was sitting on a bar stool with blood on his lip and forehead."We are calling the police"Ian said."There's no need for that Ian,Come on there kids"Kush said."We all fought when we were younger"Lee said.

"Yeah but all three of them just attacked him"Ian replied."Ian please" I said "its my wedding I'm sure their mums will sort them out now please can everyone just go back to whatever they were doing".

Everyone went back to enjoying the reception.I glared at Tiffany who was now talking to Morgan."Great more drama"I thought.

Griffin's POV
We all walked into the lounge. Me, James and Cian sat down on the couch our mums stood in front of us and our dads were by the door.

"Right I think one of you better start talking"My mum said.There was a minute of solid silence."Well what was the plan huh ,You beat him up and Cian covers up for ye"Linda said.

"Course not"I mumbled."Then what was it"My mum replied.There was a pause."Right that's it if none of you start talking,no football practice for a month"Honey said.We all continued to stare at the floor.

"Ok we are going to be in the kitchen discussing your punishments,you guys have until we come back to sort yourselves out and if you don't there will be consequences"Linda say as they all left including are Dads.

They closed the door."What are we going to do"Cian said standing up."Tell the truth"James replied."We already tried that James,They aren't going to believe us"Cian said."What else can we do"I said."I know"Cian answered "nothing".

"What"James said confused. "If they don't believe the truth just don't say anything,I mean how hard can it be we didn't do anything wrong"Cian plotted.

"Alright,I'll do it"I replied. "Same" James said smiling."Prepare yourselves boys it's time for the wrath of the mums".We all smirked because we knew they were going to kill us for this.
